Well, they were forecasting the worst snow here since 1989... I say its the best!

I've had the car for about a year. Bought it from a guy a couple towns over. Found it on Craigslist. I don't think he was a member on here. Not sure though.

 

Yea, its a lot of snow. We got about 3 inches here on the coast. Up in Columbia, closer to NC, they got almost 9 inches. I drove out into town this morning, and not much was open. Gas stations, restaurants, all closed. You can tell people here are not used to snow. Lol

Is that Menriv Park on the Naval Weapons Station?

 

If so, I lived there in 1970 when I was stationed on the USS Kamehameha SSBN-642. We used to run out of Charleston for our Polaris deterent patrols.

 

Do the aligators still come out of the swamp and crawl through the front and back yards? :huh: That used to happen about once a week back then.

 

I have a lot of GREAT memories and remember a lot of GREAT submariner parties there. :lol:
