ghengber
I know the longer grey one goes under the front air dam, but where does the smaller black piece go?

M Code
I have a Starion with a 86 airdam and want to upgrade to the 89 airdam do I need these picies for underneath? The long piece is crucial to create a suction tunnel for air flow cooling, as the front grille of the TSi/Starion is quite small... Just my $0.02... JohnnyWadd
The long piece is crucial to create a suction tunnel for air flow cooling, as the front grille of the TSi/Starion is quite small... Just my $0.02... Yeah, its part of the whole cooling system. I have a Starion with a 86 airdam and want to upgrade to the 89 airdam do I need these picies for underneath? It will help to go all OEM 89. You can run without it and be okay. It is nice to have it all stock and the intercooler and radiator efficiency will be maximized. Jeff,, is this a wanted ad? Or a forsale ad? For sale. I asked to have it moved. Thanks. Edited June 25, 2015 by JohnnyWadd
JohnnyWadd
http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/random%20parts/th_partsnip2.jpg The plastic one creates a funnel so the air goes through the intercooler and not around it.Probably also make the air dam work its best by keeping air from going under the car. http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/random%20parts/th_SAM_5125.jpg http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/random%20parts/th_SAM_5124.jpg Edited June 25, 2015 by JohnnyWadd
ghengber
I need this (and I was the first to respond to your post). I just looked under my car and it is wide open. This may explain why I'm fighting a never ending battle to keep my engine cool (especially since it is a V8 swap with headers). I'll send you a PM
