AustinTSI
I'm trying to find out if my front camber plates will be useable when I swap the standard Starion front end with a S13 front end. So I need to know what the diameter of the strut rod is for each each of them. I specifically need the diameter of the part that would be inside of the rubber insulator or inside of the camber plate. AustinTSI
I don't know if the shock absorber rod has a taper to it that actually contacts the camber plate or how much of a step down there may be from the outside diameter of the rod itself but I found that the S14 has a rod diameter in the rear of 12.5mm and the front is 20mm if I remember correctly. Komeuppance
Depending on what plates you have, you can just change out the nut. This is what's required when using MR2 struts since they're slightly larger. -Robert
patra_is_here
or you just get a small spacer to make up the difference in size: http://www.profileracing.com/estore/images/product-thumbnail-images/63/tubespacers_5193_236.jpg Edited April 30, 2013 by patra_is_here

BOOSTED88tsi
i could have answered this for you haha. Im running the s14 struts into MK1 starion camber plates. i had the s14 struts in the stock top hats for about a month while i got camber plates and would not recommend it changing to the camber plates made my steering feel 100% better as it got rid of all the slop in the top hat. AustinTSI
I've got the Stedebani camber plates front and back and would like to keep them but I wasn't sure if the s14 shock absorber rod would be too big or too small; or fit just right!
