mistapickles
It'll be here Friday.....then I get to cut that carbon fiber beauty up to make it fit.....yeah....my car will finally look like the image I made of it. http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/3/727626/CIMG3569.JPGhttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/3/727626/CIMG3098.JPGhttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/3/727626/CIMG3097.JPG
dmyers151
Be really careful when cutting it up, wear a respirator or mask at the very least. Breathing in carbon dust isn't exactly something you want to do. Edited July 24, 2010 by dmyers151
mistapickles
yeah I heard. Fortunately our cars are shaped closely to a mustank in the back so I don't have too much modification to do.

BC_99
also rub your hands arms face and any other exposed skin with baby powder. It'll keep the carbon splinters from getting in your skin. Carbon splinters dont back out like other kinds. Vaseline also works but is a pita. lol BC_99
cyberquest
i have the bodystyle before that mustang wing on my honda, oddly it fit perfect with NO mods, perfectly followed the curve of the trunk and everything. that wing look like it would fit pretty good on a quest. MoltoMario
I think its gonna look good. Your cars really gonna look like a transformer ! Ive always thought our cars would look cool with an extended stock spoiler where the end swoops up a little bit. Idk maybe its just the little bit to DTM left in me after my M3... cyberquest
you do realize though that i may have to copy this idea for two reasons: 1. my dad fords at a ford dealership so i can get that wing easy.2. i drive a QUESTANG i do actually like the look of the car without the side wing peices on it and just the hatch spoiler in place. i wouldnt mind just custom making some end peices that just wrap down the sides of the quarters like that mustang wing but use the stock ceter section. mistapickles
the shortness off the back on the center wing and the side wings always left me with disappointment...I'm really hoping this isn't too much of a chore to get done, I'm really ready to start getting some paint on this car. mistapickles
Tons and tons of work to do, lots and lots of fab work....the window line kind of matches and same with the gussets on the bottom of the wing, the side wings are no bueno....looks it would be easier for me to make my own and making the cutout for the window wiper looks like it's going to be exceptionally fun[insert sarcastic stare] http://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/3/727626/IMG00946.jpghttp://www.fileden.com/files/2007/2/3/727626/IMG00947.jpg

cyberquest
looks good, but your right thats gonna take a good amount of work to get it to fit right. i wonder if deleting the rear wiper wouldnt be a bad idea.

I was thinking of making a mold of the indentation on the factory wing, then cutting out the new wing in that area and grafting it in....but I just want to drive it...soooooo
