First I would like assure everyone that Greg will receive his free kit. Scott talked to Greg a little while ago and told him he will receive his kit, but it would be awhile till I was able to finish it. I shut the FIP shop down when my little sister was in the hospital so I could visit every day. All paid for kits were shipped at that time. After an extended time in the hospital Mary passed away. The shop remains closed as far as taking any orders. I also noticed that know one seems to remember the thousands of dollars worth of kits we have already given to the club and meets. Also the kit was to be given away FREE not with paid for raffle tickets! Regards, Ed

Here is the connection diagram. Also be sure to keep all sensor wires away from the coil, msd, spark plug wires. http://www.angelfire.com/mech/edwardcase00/images/MSD_CARV_DIST.JPG -

Phil I have use a USB to serial converter with the IgnitionPro and not had any problems. But each laptop seems a little different. What com port is your USB set to? Is the IgnitionPro software the current one posted on our site? What windows software is on your laptop? What do you have for the ignition system, stock, msd,IgnitionPro ect? If stock do you have the IAM-1A adapter? if so here is how you test it: http://www.angelfire.com/mech/edwardcase00...pt_new_test.JPG The pink wire is controlled by the water temp setting found in SETTINGS> CONSTANTS>FAST IDLE CONTROL. When the temp is below the set temp the pink wire will be at ground level, when above the set temp it will be open. A relay must be used, as the pink wire can only switch a small current. One side of the relay coil(85) would connect to the pink wire the other side of the relay coil(86) would go to a switched 12 volt supply. I will post a fan connection drawing. ED -
Please post questions you may have about installing your kit here. Ed FIP

Many seem to want to know what has been going on at FuelinjectionPro. Well for the past year we have stopped production of most all Conquest kits. This has been due to two main reasons first increased cost of making the kits and lack of profit. However the main reason was due to my little sister. Mary lived with me and I was her main caregiver for the last 5 years or so. Mary came down with Reye's Syndrome http://www.reyessyndrome.org/ when she was nine years old. She was in the hospital for three years at that time, and had to use a wheel chair afterwards. Mary had many medical problems, but always seemed to pull through. She was always happy and loved to go to movies. About a year ago Mary when in to the hospital due to a kindey stone. However due to a rare breathing condition, mistakes were made in her treatment. The doctors did not know how to treat her and required me to advise them on what to do. They ended up doing a Tracheotomy. Mary was transferred to a hospital to ween her off the trach and assisted breathing. While there Mary came down with infections and these caused her body not to make blood cells. Mary always looked forward to coming home. My mother and myself spent every day with her. On March 31 at 6:30 pm my beloved little sister passed away with her family there. She was 36. We have around 250 systems out there most have never had any problems. However I will be making post in the MPI section, were those with our fuel systems can post questions they may have. I will try to answer often. This is were I will supply any needed help. After sitting for the past year, we dusted off the car and as you may have seen we dynoed it and I will post more on that for all to use. Ed FIP

FIP vaccum advance
FuelinjectionPro replied to angryhero46's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
I have not seen this before, but most of the HURRICANE-4 guys also have the IgnitionPro1 or ED-IS-ON system and do not have the vaccum advance. You can turn the TPS to face the other way, I think you will need to switch the red and black wires also. I will check. I will have to see if our supplier made a change in the TB. Ed -
IgnitionPro Rev Limiter
FuelinjectionPro replied to gofastredstar's topic in MPI/Standalone Trials and Tribulations
The IgnitionPro1 does have a rev limiter. You will just need the IgnitionPro1 software the allows you to turn it on and set it. Just drop us an E-Mail and I can send you a copy. Ed
