I just moved to Goleta, CA(near santa barbara) from Indiana and had to sell my 88 tsi to get here. so im thinking about geting another starquest if i can find a running cheap one that isnt horrable shape. I dont want to have to do too much work to it cause i will need something that can get to work and back for a while. preferably a late model 5spd. i need the front end grill and the section above that for a 88 TSI(sorry i dont know the specific names). the front of my car was in a small fender bender before i bought it and i've been too lazy to fix this, wanted to spend my time on make it move first. I hope i explained this part well enough. i would like to get them dent/crack free, i dont realy care too much about paint color or realy small amounts of rust, as long as its fixable. i work at a car dealer so its no big deal for me to get them painted, but if you have em in figi blue that would save me some time and $. thanks for you time

thinking about making an MPI intake, wondering if anyone has any or knows a link to specs or blueprints for one that would coo. would like to go with the huricane, but cant aford it.

there is an 87 in nashville also it looks like on that site. prices are pretty decent also.

LaOtto is in indiana. thanks, i've got a few different leads now but im not shure what im gonna do with the car as of right now cause i just found out the title i got was out of date (previous owner filed for a lost title and gave me the lost one) so i dont know if i can register the car until i get this s*** straight. guy is dickin around also about going and getting a new title so i dont know if i just got screwed over or not yet. but im goning to get a tranny hopefully next week when im suposed to get the title

I just bought an 88 quest with an auto tranny and im looking to swap for a 5 speed. I dont know how hard its gonna be, maybe someone could point me to some good links on the swap. If anyone has one for sale, or possiable trade for my auto i'd like to hear about it. i also would like to run across some good struts and coil overs. im probably gonna just go new on that though. thanks
