I have a stock steering column for sale. It was removed from my car when I converted to manual steering. As far as I know it is working properly, except for the steering coupler.   Im about to throw this out, I dont think its worth a whole lot. Yesterday while doing some spirited driving on a country road the line that powere the brake booster blew off. This left with a poorly running engine due to the huge vac leak and only manual brakes. This is not the first time this is happened. Would this be caused by a bad pvc or other issues. There is a check valve in the line, and it seperates on the downstream side. should I just put hose clamp on it and be done, or does this indicate a larger issue?
