So I've been at GM for 5 years and finally got a car out that I'm very proud of. This is the 2014 Impala. I sculpted (clay and digital) the car from a scale model all the way through production. An unbelievable amount of work went into this car. Its really cool to finally see something I did out on the road. MK1 Short Shifter!

I just installed an MK1 short shifter in my car and I can't say enough positive thIngs about it. It's very well constructed and fits the transmission like a glove. The throw on the shifter is significantly reduced and the engagement is very crisp. Also, the shifter has a spring in it to prevent it from vibrating or wobbling at idle. It holds firm in the center between gears. I know some people have commented on the poor quality of the bushIng, but only time will tell if I have problems.
Wiper Arm Restore

Hey everyone, I wanted a second opinion on this since it's my first time attempting it. Yesterday I sanded down my wiper arms with 180 grit sandpaper (sounds heavy but the last guy who painted left a lot of thick paint drips on the wiper arm), and then resprayed them flat black with Krylon: Indoor/Outdoor spray paint. (They look brand new btw) The guy at O'Reilly's Auto Parts told me when I was buying the paint to also think about covering it with a clear coat. ... ... Apparently, he did
