Bleeding my hydraulic Lifters
By Wakeman17,
I have brand new lifters that I soaked in oil for a few days and made sure there were no more air bubbles left in each lifter before I put them in. But that are tapping pretty bad underneath the valve cover and I'm getting good oil pressure so I'm not sure why they are tapping. Is there another way to bleed the lifters? Or another reason that they are tapping? Thanks, Tyler

Replacement alternator! 1987 conquest with intercooler?!!!
By gottraction,
So my Alternator took a crap tonight right when i get my car back running correctly. The thing is i pulled it out and it has a smaller connector wired up through the factory big connector. Everything else looks like it was bolted like factory. What alternator do i have in my car?? And Second i cannot find any parts stores that carry our factory replacement one and im not wanting to wait a week for it. Are there any confirmed alternators from other cars that physically bolt in?
