First off i should say that its kinda nice to surf the forums again. I havent been on here in 4 or 5 years and i used to be loged on as Leed_Foot . I had a red 89' Conquest and was madly in love but times changed for me and it just isnt practical to have a quest right now. I sold the car about the same time i stopped getting online and i had some left over parts at my parents place. All is gone except for two 8'' rear's and one 7'' front rims. I have always appreciated the Starion & Conquest. I remember seeing a Conquest new on the lot when I was a kid. Being in Maine, I have only actually seen three in person. They are not common at all up here. I have an opportunity to pick up an '86 Starion that was brought up from Florida 10 years ago and has been sitting ever since. Hi, the 5 speed shifter boot on my 88 Conquest has started to peel, I thought it was real leather but its actually a vinyl "leatherette" man made material. Either the rubber boot style or a replacement "leatherete" or leather boot will do. It needs to be in as new condition or if anyone knows where/how I could source a shifter boot would be very helpful as I'm very new to SQC. My car is an 88 Conquest, thanks in advance!
