I have been searching for hours now and cant find any info. Is it possible to install a 3inch maf and maft into an 86 starion?

Saw a valve next to my turbo with three ports for vacuum lines and a rod going to passenger side of the turbo, I assume this is my waste gate?. Where do the vacuum lines go? there is only one hooked up to mine. What happens if I leave it disconnected?
