I don't understand why.   Can someone please expalin to me why, they would use a 1G DSM turbo MAS with a translator?   In the first place the reason we use the Translator is because, someone discovered the 1G MAS is compatable with the Starion ECU.   So it that regard it was understandable that the GM MAF & Translator that was engineered for the 1G DSM could be used to some degree in the Starion/Conquest to replace the restrictive OEM karman vortex MAS. and replace it with a GM hotwire MAF u

Hey everybody! New (again) Conquest owner. Recently bought Wattle's white '89 'Quest that he had posted here and on CL. I had a silver '89 TSI back in college about 15 yrs ago and absolutely loved it, but it had been beat to hell pretty good before I got it and its life was short. Due to issues with fitment (around MPFI components), I want to have AN lines coming off the heater box's brass pipes, so I can just have 90's screwed in and avoid having to be a contortionist with my hands if I have to replace anything.     How well do you think epoxy would hold up to water temp/pressure?   If so, which epoxy would probably hold up the best?

I think we need a fab section for those of us that want to show our skills creating something. Whether it is bodywork, welding or general fabrication. A lot can be learnt from a section like this.
