The turbo is in great shape with a little shaft play.
Let me know.
Causes of backfire?
By JamesR,
I’ve been having a nagging occasional backfire that I’ve been trying to track down for the last couple of months. Here’s what I’ve checked so far.
o2 sensor – replaced o2 sensor
Fuel pressure – fuel pressure within spec.
Coil – tested and within spec.
MAF – no codes, swapped with other MAF no change
TPS – adjusted, tested and within spec.
Coolant temp. sensor – tested and within spec.
Vac. Advance – checked diaphragm and seems fine
What else should I check?
Vacuum advance lever?
By JamesR,
I did not know until recently that there is a NA vac. adv. and turbo vac. adv. I bought a new vac. adv. about a year or two ago as a spare and not sure if I got the right one now.
I need to know how much the VA lever moves out (retard) under pressure?
The new one I have, under pressure, the vac. adv. lever goes out a few millimeters, but under vacuum the lever goes in few more millimeters then under pressure. Should the movement be equal in both directions?
wheel spacers
By LEPORE,
just checking to see if anyone had some rear wheel spacers to sell 1.5" or 35-40mm.
spacers found
