Just finished rebuilding the engine and have been breaking it in (only about 20 miles so far), and I noticed that at 2000 rpm there is a weird noise coming from the rear of the engine under the valve cover at 2K rpm. It sounds like one of the rocker arms is hitting the sheet metal portion of the rear part inside the valve cover. I took the valve cover off and retorqued all the bolts (head and rocker arms) and adjusted the valves but still makes the noise. I also inspected the inside of the valve

So I've got an 87 5 speed standard with a SPEC clutch. Everything works great. Except after the car is warmed up and idling in neutral the tranny seems to whine. If you depress the clutch the whining stops. Can't really hear if it whines under load(in gear and driving) but I don't think it does.   Any ideas?

is anyone using Haltech Platinum Sport 2000? what are your thoughts on it?
