Starting my headlight conversion
By Quest4Power,
alright, i'm finally ready to start this... i've ordered the lights (hella 90mm lights) and the lexan. i'm going to make the first housing out of aluminum sheet stock, possibly fiberglass. the hella lights are easy to mount so the hardest part will be making the lexan covers sit flush with the body. if it's simple enough to produce i may sell a kit where you buy the lights. only time will tell.

painting louvers
By unimatrix,
I just got a rear hatch louver - it was a mess. I stripped it down to the bare aluminum and a friend of mine who has a compresser and sprayer said he will repaint it fo me.
but I was wondering if I need to do anything else to it before it is painted. I'm useing
rust-oleum painter's touch gloss black paint.
