just picked up a msd high vibration blaster coil...is there a stock resistor???do I use same one or bypass stock and use aftermarket one

I need the assembly that holds the battery in place for my '87 Starion. Someone has rigged a red Autozone "fits all" unit that is SUPER UGLY. The correct holder fastens to the radiator support with one screw and has a "hanger" that hooks down by the base of the battery. THANKS!! Brian
