Maf Questions, new owner with cold start issues

I'm a new owner of a 1988 conquest TSi and im in the process of getting it tuned right at a local shop. The two problems it is in for are that it is a pain in the butt to start when it is cold (Have to hold the throttle at 2k for like 3 min.) and it needs a general tune. Noticed the car doesn't have the original maf sensor but one off of the 1st gen eclipse, without a translator, and it might be causing some issues. Was told by the previous owner that is was just plug and play upgrade from the f
headlight problems

I've got a little problem. Turned my headlights on and went to turn them off and they didn't turn off or retract. Checked and cleaned the switches that didn't help. Changed the relay and that didn't work either. Finally changed the switches and that didn't work! Whats the problem? Any help would be appreciated!
