New to conquest-already neck deep in it

I'm from Mississippi, me and my 14 year old son was looking for a father/son project for his first car. Something we could work on together and he could learn about the vehicle at the same time. We found a 87 wide body Fiji blue roller. He loved the car, he chose this 1987 for his first vehicle. Parts are located in St. Cloud Mn I have a set of "Metal Matrix" brake pads, they probably have about 95% of the material left on them, they worked great for me, weren't noisy or too dusty and stopped on a dime. Sold. I also have stock turbo, minimal shaft play, never blew oil and boosted great for me. Sold.
