I managed to pick up a 1998 eclipse radio that I had the intention of installing in my car. However, with a quick bench test setup going, I can not get any sound from the unit. After looking at the link that's in the 1G stereo post that popped up just recently, I noticed that the 1G radios came with a small external amp and that without this piece the stereo would not play any sound.   Unfortunantly I've been unsuccesful at finding some good information so my question is whether or not the '98
