Problem is that I am in England! My rear bumper metal support.....the big one that bolts the bumper to the body of the car is completely rusted and will need to be replaced. I am contact with a guy who has a couple starions laying around, and he said he would check...but chances are they are rusted as well....as they all tend to rust in the same place. Would be costly to ship it, but it might be worth it since ive got the exchange rate in my favor.

Here is something for the how forum. The wiper transmission all that pushrod and pivot business under the wiper cowl... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2487.jpg I see a lot of the passenger side wiper pivots are corroded and end up with busted threads or get stuck on the body of the car. Here is the part I am talking about... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2488.jpg This part is stationary or the base... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2494.jpg And this part pivots through the center of it... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2495.jpg I think one part of the problem is the pivot gets hard to move because of corrosion in the tight fit of the base center and then ends up making the base move and slowly tearing up the threads. All the ones I have taken apart are super tight on the pivot but where slightly loose at the base where it bolts to the car...this is me cranking on the pivot with a vise grip with way more force than should be needed just to get it to rotate... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2498.jpg So it might be a good idea to lube that thing with some good penetrating oil. I bet a lot of our car have slower than normal wipers. Another fix for those with busted pivots would be to use the passenger side one. Its the same part...see the side by sides... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2493.jpg http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2490.jpg The pivot attachment would need to be swapped though... http://i1187.photobucket.com/albums/z388/starionkiller/starion%20wiper%20transmission/th_SAM_2491.jpg

It's been raining for the past coupe of days and I noticed water in the foot well. I dried it up but it keeps coming back so it's obviously leaking from somewhere. I saw threads about this happening in the passenger side foot well and people were saying that it was the AC drain being clogged but no one said anything about the drivers side. I haven't been able to find any obvious leaks on the bottom of the car so I was wondering if you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance.

Yikes. I pulled the metal plates out (well, what's left of them) and I now need to go find some chrome tape or paint and fix these puppies. Scary what water can do... EDIT: Itchy trigger finger there. What adhesive should I use to put these things back together? Is traditional clear silicon sufficient, or do I need a trim type adhesive? Thanks!
