  1. So after having my SMB header crumble to bits after 1000 miles I decided to get a REAL header built. I contacted Bryson over at Boostwerks speed shop and gave him a challenge, build me a header with roughly the same dimensions as my old SMB header, make it bullet proof, make an exhaust flange with holes that line up and have it clear my oil filter housing. I sent him my old SMB header, an MHI exhaust gasket and my turbo. The header he built me is super thick Schedule 40 304L pipe, which is v ground, back purged and tig welded. If anyone wants one feel free to contact Boostwerks. He makes these to order, so if you want something custom I'm sure he can build it for you. If your curious about his warranty, well here's a link http://www.boostwerks.com/pages/warranty-information Before During http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/1015.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/1016.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/1017.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/029.jpg After http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/D5668DCC-3DC0-4805-A4E8-C68CE4C89552-2718-00000381ACD33260.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/0736B752-27A3-49AF-9C1C-6B65716FA99C-2718-00000381E22ACB79.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/694839D7-EE2C-4407-97FD-1ED64A66D1CD-2718-00000381DA48ECC1.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/6E215708-FAB1-4722-A6D3-52E5CB114F0D-2718-00000381D2F92FA4.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/BD8644F5-1CEA-45B9-A6FB-3CFC2C4FD1E9-2718-00000381CD914E66.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/A074ABCE-4894-47C0-A1B4-3FF182E8101E-2718-00000381C8217728.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/D3057782-A2C2-4FA9-A2DC-A88EB64D8A4C-2718-00000381C1417900.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/6EC97D0E-AB84-4988-8E22-BA4C0EE6B913-2718-00000381BB9DB9A8.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/22506717-2B8A-4DF1-9A1D-C797AAF6349D-2718-00000381B64258D1.jpg http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c255/sidewaysstarion/D5668DCC-3DC0-4805-A4E8-C68CE4C89552-2718-00000381ACD33260.jpg
  2. Hey All, I am going to sell the 89 Starion, rather reluctantly, but there are some other projects in a back yard I need to clean out. Anyway this is a true 89 verified by a couple of VINs I snapped a picture of. This car I do believe was hit on drivers side before but was repaired fairly well. Also if you would notice there is a 4 bolt rear end rather than a 6 bolt. No this isn't a rare option, but was swapped when the car was repaired in 1998 from the looks of the autocheck that was done for me. As for the details. 1989 Mitsubishi Starion 5-Speed /w sunroof, Black on Black, Asking $2000 for the car and is located in Huntsville, AL. *Update 01-31-12* Will accept partial trade + cash for pistols (I know this limiting in some states). Nothing really specific, would prefer a more common caliber 9mm, .40 etc. The car does run and driver fairly well, just needs some TLC before I would make it a daily. The parking brake cables are rather tight and need to be lubricated, and all the brake calipers need to be gone through on top of that. The injectors DO NOT leak and it has strong oil pressure on startup and pretty average after it is warmed up. See the couple of pictures of the gauge cluster. There is rust starting to form on the passengers rear quarter, see pic, and the undercarriage of the car has surface rust on some. Pretty standard for a car that has lived up north for a while. It has a OVCP /w a blow-off, and works as it is supposed to. Also the AC compressor has been removed, but all the other AC parts are still intact. It does have KYB's all around on what looks like stock springs. Also an aftermarket radio has been installed. If you have a question feel free to ask, or if your are around Huntsville, AL you can stop by to see it or drive it. http://minagera.org/gallery/var/albums/Cars/Conquest/89-Starion/89%20Starion%20-%2001.jpg?m=1317362828 http://minagera.org/gallery/var/albums/Cars/Conquest/89-Starion/89%20Starion%20-%2002.jpg?m=1317362828 http://minagera.org/gallery/var/albums/Cars/Conquest/89-Starion/89%20Starion%20-%2003.jpg?m=1317362828 http://minagera.org/gallery/var/albums/Cars/Conquest/89-Starion/89%20Starion%20-%2004.jpg?m=1317362828 http://minagera.org/gallery/var/albums/Cars/Conquest/89-Starion/89%20Starion%20-%2005.jpg?m=1317362828
  3. Oh yes, Its here. Even though you never thought it could ( or should ) happen. Born of the similar soft "o" sound in Tron and Con, and a flat black Conquest with no determined purpose. Its not finished and I will probably redo alot of the patterns, but I just had to show you guys. Enjoy. Most of these pics were taken with ISO 3200 and F-stop at 5.0 for the most low light ability. That is why the sky seems to glow in a few. I adjusted the camera settings as I went on the others. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032505.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032509.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032517.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032519.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032472.jpg These next few are with the aide ofa blacklight. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032466.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032484.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032482.jpg These are what it looks like with a flash. http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032525.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032524.jpg http://i289.photobucket.com/albums/ll231/nomad1856/TRONquest/PC032527.jpg
