  3. put new injector seals on about a year ago when i swapped from ridiculous trilogy injectors back to stock (as rest of car is stock) started leaking like crazy a few weeks ago, turning the key to try and start and the throttle body under the injectors is wet and whole engine bay smells of fuel. still starts and runs but i prefer my car to not be like my mixtape. any ideas? waiting on another set of seals thanks

Just got my 87 to pass smog again (barely) it keeps having a nox issue was told my the tech that it leaned out under any boost I don't have a wideband yet, will hook up autometer narrowband gauge shortly to take a look I think the injector wires were mix-matched when previous owner replaced the pigtails one injector has two wires of the same color (green/white) if memory serves Can someone with a properly running 87 take a pic and list the colored wires going to their injectors?
  5. I think I have my issue nailed down. Car does not start, will sometimes run on secondary injector. Spark and fuel are good up to the injectors. My oil is heavily diluted with fuel. the FPR is good, holds vacuum, dosent leak gas The spark plugs were fowled badly and replaced, I noticed a small drop of fuel off primary injector. While cranking both injectors spray HARD. Seems to be a very small leak, if any, out of the primary. Could a very small leak dilute the oil that much, and prevent the car from starting by flooding engine with fuel? Also, what should injector spray look like while cranking?
  6. So working on the '88 that came with no injectors at all bought some used from Eduardo just to throw in to see what it sounds like. So I have no idea which connector is for which injector. Just wondering if someone can take a look and see what color wires are going to the prim and second injectors. Looked on elec. manual and could't find a wiring diagram. Thanks All

  8. I'm parting out the engine and transmission of a 88 Conquest. Odometer shows 69,xxx miles. The engine was still full of nice green antifreeze. I bought the car not running, so condition is unknown. I was told it needed a starter. When I pulled the engine, it was missing a starter bolt allowing the starter to move away from the block and flexplate. Oil was old but was not milky. Turbo a little dry but manually turned smooth. Now for some prices. Long block $250, Intake with injectors $75, Turbo $75, Distributer $50, Intercooler $40, Transmission $100, Auto Shifter with linkage $50, Alternator $15 Radiator $50. Shipping is not included in the prices listed. If I did not list something you need, just ask. I have all parts right now since I'm doing a V8 swap. Thank for looking! Scott
  9. Can an injector stuck open cause the intake to fill with gas? If so what do I need to do from this point? It never cranked just turned over and that's when the Gas filled up where the thermostat is. Strange?? Do I need to drain the oil?
  10. I have a brand new Delphi 95lb injector from Racetronix. It just came in this week but i ended up going with a different injector combo. The top part does look different compared to my Trilogy's (the top part is hard plastic not soft bushing) so im not even 100 percent sure it will bolt right up. But was told by a member that they where really the same thing. You may want to double check on their site before purchasing. Anyway i spent about 65 shipped. Looking for 45 shipped!!   11. I am a newbie when it comes to anything with my conquest. I know I had fuel system issues because the car sat 8+ years with fuel in it. Almost every post I read here said send the injectors RC Engineering. I did, and like to show other newbies the information you get after they return the injectors. Now I wish I took before pictures, but I didn't but they look brand new now. I will post the after pictures this evening.   13. hey guys for some reason im not getting fuel past the fuel injectors ive tested the injectors and they spray replaced the ballast resistor pack knock box and injector clips and a ecu the only thing about the ecu is that its an 83 and my starion is an 84 i cannot figure out why it woul;d do this it ran fine and then started doing this any help would be appreciated.
  14. I have an 87 starion. I am having a problem when the engine is under load it cuts out around 3,000rpm but when i am sitting there i can i can rev up to 5500 rpm before it cuts out. I have been reading several post about testing the injectors. I cannot run the engine with just one injector hooked up. I have to have both of them hooked up for it to run. Is the green injector the primary? It will not start will just that one hooked up. But with the other one hooked up it will run for about a second........Any ideas????????
