IROC is dead. Sold off it's tools, cars and memorabilia in 2008. Pontiac is out of production. Oldsmobile and Plymouth have not been around for years. Toyota Camry is in nascar. Camry's were RWD from 80-82. w/e, not the point. Give it time. I think long enough and all you will see is Hyundai's and Kia's in NASCAR. Maybe a smart car mixed in there too. (not cool). I realize that in the end it's all about the consumer and the majority. And the majority is just dying to have a Honda accord in their garage. I don't know, maybe this is pointless to post on a import car enthusiast site, but I bought my car b/c it was totally unique, rare, and it was what i could afford at the time. I vote GTO. haven't driven one but I have been behind the wheel of an s2000 several times. Didn't really wow me. Just my opinion.

IMHO i would go for the weisco pistons. What it allows for is upgrades down the road. you'll have your bottom end ready for whatever you want to throw at it later, and it's a little peace of mind insurance to boot.

So it's that time of year again, and I'm about to start working on the Starion again. This year my focus is on the suspension and brakes. So far I have my eibachs that came yesterday, new rear calipers, new strut mounts front and rear, mookeeh's front shock inserts and rear struts, transmission mount, rear strut tower bar, sway bar end links, and an egr block off plate. Still in the mail, mookeeh's front and rear sway bars, front and rear slotted and cross drilled rotors. Oh and I did buy something cool, Harbor freight has 2 pack vehicle dollies that hold up to 1000 lbs each for 49.99, they are on sale right now. 100 bux and now i can swivel my car, push it outa the way, whatever. I will try to get some more pics up soon, i don't have a digital camera, and apparently 35mm is not cool anymore. Oh yea and my phone sux too. Puttin all the $ into the car...

And continuing to mod, up the Starion rose! The drivers of Starions and Conquests make all the girls whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
