  1. I have a blue front bumper cover still attached to a parts car if you are interested. I am located in North Denver (Northglenn) if you want to avoid shipping costs. I also have a maroon one but i think the blue one is in better shape. Send me a PM with what your willing to spend. I would prefer to leave what is still attached to the bumper and sell it cover, bumper, right fog light and all. I can send pics.
  2. I think I have an 88 or 89. Let me know if you are still interested in it. Otherwise I can take a couple picture so you can see what is missing from yours. I am fairly sure I reconnected everything that was small back to the harness, so I wouldn't forget how it went together. Good luck. You have a lot of work ahead of you.
  3. Hey guys I need the center console for an 86 Chrysler conquest. Lol I leaned on mine a little to hard and a section right next to the ebrake completely snapped off

Its the console with the two removable dins, one is the tray and the other is the controls for the mirrors. I dont need the mirror controls or tray but will take them if needed.

    Thanks

I have a maroon one if that works

  4. I had a similar issue because of a bad coolant temp sensor. It is the vertically mounted sensor on the intake with the "T" shaped prong layout. There is a section in the FSM describing how to check/troubleshoot the sensor.

If you find that the sensor is bad the part number is listed here,

Thanks, that was the problem. The resistance on the one in the car was about 10 fold higher than the one I just installed and when heated the old one didn't become "conductive" as the book stated. Installed one off my parts car and the car starts great and idles like it should on start up. All around runs better.

  5. Injectors need cleaned but if you soldered on the wires directly to the terminals I'd say you ruined them.

I wish I did the soldering because then I would know who the idiot was that did it and could kick my own butt. However, I bought the car this way. I am seeing some other cheap shortcuts as I make my way through the reviving of a car I have always loved. Hopefully I never pay too much for all the shortcuts.

  6. Looking for some help with an issue I haven't been able to solve. I have an 88 Quest that I picked up that had been sitting for about 6 years. In the process of restoring I have gone through the fuel system, basically new tank, pump, fuel filter(s), and installed a fuel pressure guage (38psi). The car runs nice once I get it started however, it will flood on the first start attempt. My guess is the mixture is wrong at start (not enough air) or the ECU is commanding to much fuel at start up. The injectors are soldered so I don't want to mess with that portion of the system until all other items are resolved. I have been starting the car by having someone crank the car while the fuel pump is disconnected and then connecting the pump. It will fire up with this method. Also it sometimes will start by flooring the pedal before and during engine start up. After the car is warm this issue seems to resolve itself and starts up fine. Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom.
  7. I have (2) Maroon leather seats from an 88 Conquest. I also will be including most the fastners and trim for the mounting brackets for these seats. Some were damaged and tossed. Let me know. I am asking $75 for the set. The seats are great for age but they do have some wear spots. I also have a bunch of maroon interior parts if that is what you are looking for.
  8. Nice pictures. I have done that drive a couple times and I recognized a few places you photographed. Do you remember Teslin Lake and Destruction Bay? How did you like the no-mans land between the Canada and Alaska border. I am sure a few of those frost heaves got your attention towing a trailer. When all the stuff settles from hitting one of those you look in the rear-view mirror to make sure everything is still attached. Oh and I am sure you got the notion that animals in British Columbia and Yukon already know they get the right-of-way. Did you stop at Liard Hot Springs? We always took a break there to relax. Personal record is 66 hours total from Denver, Co to Fairbanks, Ak only stopping for gas and restrooms. That road changes every year depending on what Mother Nature has planned.
