  1. i would like to see pictures. I am interested.
  2. Thanks by the way that is an awsome looking car. I really like the white and the wheels look good too.
  3. The paint is a high heat paint with ceramic in it. (1200 degrees) I used this same paint on the heat shields and they still look good. If someone would rather have them sandblasted I can do that too. I really just put the paint on them after I sandblasted them to keep them from rusting. If it that big of a deal I can pull the one of my car and paint it to see how long it lasts. I am looking to get 125 for these. The money is no big deal to me but I think good parts for these car should keep some value. If we go around giving the stuff away these car will never go up in value.
  4. Good question! Are you interested in buying? If so I will be happy to answer your question. If you are just boared and looking to mess with someone just move on.
  5. These came of my car. I replaced them with a lightly ported stock set up. I did stress relieve the manifold. Both pieces were sand-blasted then painted with a high heat paint 1200 degrees. I painted my heat shield with this same paint and they still looks new after a few months. There are no cracks. I did not have any exhaust leaks this stuff only has 44,000 miles on it. $150.00 plus shipping. I am open to trades too. http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t110/rockvilleash1976/P1010080.jpg http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t110/rockvilleash1976/P1010081.jpg http://i158.photobucket.com/albums/t110/rockvilleash1976/P1010082.jpg
  6. I just got a set this weekend. It looks like he still has a lot of good wheels left.
  7. I just got a set of rear wheels from him this weekend for $50. When I got there my car cut off in the driveway a fusible link went bad. Scotty hooked me up with one N/C. Then we were talking and I was telling him about running 115 mph with a GTI when a piece of trim flew off my windshield. Scotty hooked me up once again N/C. I know he has gotten a lot of heat on here but he also does a lot for the community. He has hosted meets, saved and resorted cars just to name the things I have seen him do over the past year. Sometimes people don't like to hear NO so they get pissy. I wanted to buy a FIGI car he had close to a year ago. He told me straight up that he wanted the car to go to a person more familiar with these cars. I was OK with that I went and found another car. I then tried to buy an 83 from him to use the hood when I was getting my car painted. I let him know that I planned to part the car and he let me know that he would rather not sell it to someone that was going to part the car. I was OK with that too. My point is Scotty is VERY passionate about these cars and wants to see the nice cars stay around as long as possible so if that means walking away from a deal in the best interest of his passion then you have to respect that. I make my living in sales. I can be working on a $300.00 deal or over a half million so I think I know a thing or two about making deals. I like dealing with people that are honest even if you don’t like their answers. I will continue to do business with Scotty and recommend him to anyone that asks.
  8. I went to one of the local part stores and got one for a mustang. It fits nice. They had the conquest listed as a size smaller I got that one first and it did not fit.
  9. I will take a set of 8's. Just let me know the best time to come get em. You can call my cell 804-690-4380 I do not get on here every day anymore.
  10. Nate sorry I droped off on this one. My car is running really rough and I do not want to put any other performance parts on the car until i get it running smoth again. I have been waiting months for a adjustable FPR that I hope will fix my issue.
  11. If i can run this with A/C I will take it what is shipping to 23146.
  12. What's the deal? I know you do not have control over your suppliers but you should as a business person keep your PAID customers up to date. If this is the level of service you offer this will be the last time I purchase anything from you. I am in sales and have made my living in the business world since I got out of the Marines in 96. If I treated my customers like this I would be living on the street. I understand that things happen but in good faith you should either keep us updated or return our money.
  13. Interested can you send me a pic. Or post one. arose1231@msn.com
  14. I have a 17c now i just need to get someone to fab a bracket for the wastegate i had to rotate the 17c to line up with the stock wastgate. What are you looking to get out of the FIP?
  15. As of right now I am planning to buy a new one so I willing to spend the money for a new set up from FIP. If someone has a used one for sale at a price based on age, useage, condition and any other special considerations I would be interested. I am just looking to upgrade to a new fuel system using the TB. I would consider any set up that is proven and reliable.
  16. Thanks sly dog. I am looking first to see if someone has a system used for sale. It seems that a lot of people buy things with the intention of using them but change their mind and go another direction leaving a lot of good used stuff for sale.
  17. I am interested pics to arose1231@msn.com. Are you only looking for a trade or how about a cash deal?
  18. I am looking for a FIP-2 system. Just to be clear I want the TB system from FIP.
