Thanks again for great parts at excellent prices.

if you would like to go new... talk to randy(dad here at sqc) or www.enginemachineservice.com, there is/was a group purchase http://www.starquestclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=53911 for the Marnal<--sweet deal.

uggggg... and to think I had my 86 Olive Starion towed away about 6 months after 2 NEW injectors(damn close to 900 bucks!!!)and a blown headgasket--I was sooo naieve. It had a salvage title(trash truck backed into it and I was in the habit of leaving the lights up to be easy on the motors. I was able to rig it up for the cost of 2 new headlights and drove it for about 9 more months til the headgasket blew). BUT I BASICALLY GAVE IT AWAY FOR THEM TO COME AND GET IT. :x . Had serious family issues at the time so it didnt mean much to me at the time. Now it my time to repent my sins. Keep good care of em boys and girls.
But sorry for the hijack...i think youd have better luck finding a decent condition of any color and paint it rather than wait for a nice palermo one.

Maybe in about 20-30 years when mitsubishi has depleated all oem parts for the Starion/Conquest. Talk of parting out is like throwing blood in the water. I guess I shouldnt have even joked around about it....I thought Id get a bunch of "dont part it! It can be saved!". Its got 84K original so parting outs not gonna happen lol
-
Yea...the heat insulator is beyond repair(shown in pic) and the airdam is also byond repair. I think theres more money in parting it out.
in all seriousness.... theres no way this babys getting parted. I believe gtxthunder had an 83 hood painted palermo he wanted 500 for. Id be all over it but its time to concentrate on the motor.

nice condition burgandy seats minus headrest. its a completed auction that no one bid on. I believe its in NC, and it say local pick up, but they look to be in really nice shape...if they were black they would last about 30 secs for the "buy it now" price he had($70 starting, $120BIN). You shoudlnt have too much trouble with the rest.
good luck

I wish someone would send their SHPs in to Trilogy and let us know how theyre turning out. Rebuilding them while my engine is getting rebuilt would be good timing .

This should be in the "Just plain ol BS" because you have nothing to sell. Get a few items done and THEN post in the for sale forum.
-
edit* Maybe you should have to pass some kind of test or exam on posting policy before you become a member. Acutally, not a bad idea.

I think we need to start deleting these post and give warning if this gets that kind of posting you can be banned for a couple days. I get sick of coming to these things that doesn't belong here.
wow, someone got up on the wrong side of the bed . I was thinking the topic was in the wrong forum as well but then I looked at his post count and figured Id go easy on him. Maybe next time just ignore it.

I think this thread will end up just like others before. Someone with a little ambition wants to make some parts, posts a thread about it, then nothing ever becomes of it. No offense to anyone in particular, it just happens this way alot...
Lesson here: Make some parts, re-engineer them until they are perfect, make a few more of them, take pictures of parts, THEN post in the "parts for sale" forum. Its like any other business...you have to make either a superior product or a more economical product with equal quality. There are already alot of nice parts out there so you have to have an angle.

he said he sent it... if it was sent in an envelope, Im sure it jammed their machine and its history. Maybe it got lost??? Either way, I still need one.
thanks

Anyone have a pic of their car with the Eibach pro-kit installed? Im just curious what it looks like and if dropping it 1-1.5" will change suspension geometry in a bad way. Also, I dont want to go through airdams on a weekly basis- I know my dumb a** will run into something.
Thanks as always

Worth every penny. The chrome is brilliant and smooth, my camera and lighting does not do it justice.
