  1. china? I believe the strut housings are bought from a manufacturer that also builds shocks for other company's. The strut housing is then fabricated in house at MK1's shop. I don't think these kinds of parts are availabe from some sort of catalog. I thought he was going to sell them for retail on ebay like he has done on some of his previous GP's.

    Its been some time since the last BP, is it that hard to get parts to build this setup if the strut is from china. this seems to be a copy of the coilover system a nissan club in AZ is using.

  2. For a good race bottom. H beam rods, forged pistons, total seal rings, balance shaft eliminator kit, new oil pump. metal head gasket, O ring block, ARP studs and most important BALANCE everything. I purchased my valves, rods and pistons from www.manleyperformance.com you will have to send your old parts for them to get the spec if you dont know it. local drag race shops in VA with a line boar, crank balancing and other equipment are a good sign they may have what it takes to put your engine togeather. you may have to upgrade that turbo depending on your setup and tuning. I think it will run out of pressure on the topend you may have to use a bigger unit. dont use turbonetics junky units they cant take high oil pressure and will blow the oil seal smoke after a couple days driving, try a Garrett GT turbo its worth it.
  3. Yes they are 19" WORK VS wheels from the supra. they bairly fit the back has a spacer. I have more pix but cant load them I dropped the file size and type and still load error what am i doing wrong

     

    guys be easy, I never said the car was ready for a pass at the local drag strip or car show its now 80% done after 3 weeks. the car will be srtipped of for its trip to the body shop. dont hate appreciate

The car runs fine, it was not difficult to make the change, engine and tranny mounts were fabbed in less than a hour engine and tranny dropped right in with minor clarance issues. the car used a levle10 supra auto trans that fits in the tunnel no shift mods nessary. the orignal car ran 10 sec Q-mile times at englishtown NJ before being crashed twice on the street now being reborn a Starquest.
