  1. oh and stock static compression ratio for a 2.6 with a m8/m9 head is 9.2:1
  2. Hey all, I've been away for a while and I've tried to answer all pm's but if I've missed anyone just send me an e-mail. Frosty_the_punk@austarnet.com.au. take care guys
  3. Hi everyone. first off i'd like to apolagise to anyone who has had trouble getting into contact with me over the last two weeks or so, things have been very hectic at my workplace and i haven't had a lot of time to get much organised on here. busdriver, I have had a "list" early on and found it to be troublesome due to it being hard to get into contact with people who are on the list. and then having to go through the list contacting people in specific order when others are waiting to pay.. and I have decided that I would prefer not to be having machine work done to the cylinder heads before I send them, it's just a complication that will cause further delays. plus it causes my overheads to go up signifigantly! I hope everyone understands, I am just trying to keep this whole thing as simple as possible. it's ended up being way more complicated than i had ever imagined. I am still offering good cylinder heads for quite a reasonable price. cylinder heads are still $350 and I'm hoping to get more intakes up for sale very soon. stop asking haha Cheers, Ian Frost.
  4. sorry, I don't have any photos of an M8/M9. apparently they flow a smidge less than the M6/M7. but they're still a very capable cylinder head! I have an M8 on my naturally aspirated scorpion/sapporo. it runs consistent low 14's on street tires!
  5. Chad has contacted me, the ball is rolling again, everyone concerned can breathe a sigh of relief
  6. has anybody heard from chad recently?? also if anyone has a phone number I can contact chad on, could you please pm me so I can find out what's going on? thankyou. Ian Frost.
  7. shipping time for sea mail is about 8 weeks. (intakes or cylinder heads) I still haven't found out about the cost of cylinder head work yet, sorry about that. things have just been really busy at work lately and i haven't had a spare minute until now (9:25pm saturday lol) I will get onto that first thing monday morning. as well as a few other enquiries I have to make regarding tracking of sent items etc. cheers, Ian Frost
  8. yes, magna heads bolt straight up to a US starion block and use the same head gasket. if you plan to use the stock TBI intake manifold with a magna head. there is slight modification needed to the manifold which takes about an hour.
  9. I ship the cylinder heads individually, without anything else in the package to ensure that the cylinder heads are not damaged during transportation. so i could ship them to chad or directly to you. I have no idea if Chad is set up to do cylinder head machine work. the cylinder heads are magna M6/M7 castings and flow more air than a non-jetvalve head. it should provide a signifigant performance advantage which would vary depending on what other mods you have. there are a lot of guys over here using these heads and intakes making around 300rwhp with stock cams and conservative boost pressures I could find out what a 3 or 5 angle valve job would cost at the cylinder head workshop that I get to do the pressure testing. what they charge is what you would pay. (ie nothing in it for me) and yes, I'm planning on sending more intakes to chad in packages of three in the very near future.
  10. bump. surely someone could make use of a high flowing astron head, pressure tested and washed in a kero bath. it sucks to have these just sit here not being used, lot of potential in them! ...also, is there still a fait bit of interest in magna intakes? I may see if i can get some more very soon if I know people want 'em.
  11. and again... i don't get it...these should've been snapped up instantly!
  12. quikconq is a great guy to deal with, I bought 5 stud front hubs from him and the international postage was prompt and well packaged. I would buy from him again.
  13. I will have more intakes once the heads have been sold. really need the space for mopar parts right now
  14. come on guys, this is a damn good price.
  15. I think it's normal to get a few "i'll buy it!" type messages and then not hear from the person again. I try to never consider something as bought or sold until money has traded hands. I reckon i've heard every excuse in the book but communication is important between a buyer and a seller, if I can't get into contact with someone after a few days (at least 2) I have no problem buying/selling somewhere else.
  16. Price drop. heads are now $350ea. limited time deal.
  17. still got heads and gaskets. for those who are interested.
  18. All gone. for those who missed out, I will update when I am ready to send more.
  19. 3 Intakes and fuel rails are on their way to USA. one of them is still available to buy for $145 USD Gaskets are $11each and $9 shipping. or $13 shipping if you buy two.
