Garrett T3/T04e 57 trim compressor w/ A/R .50 housing Stage 1 turbine w/ A/R .48 housing Journal bearing (oil and water cooled) Spins beautifully w/ no shaft play Im debating keeping the turbo for a future project or putting the parts up on ebay. Shoot me some reasonable offers!

  5. OK I've had a few PMs about the header. Yes I am willing to seperate. Since no one is willing to make an offer, I'll throw out some numbers. $350 for the header $300 for the turbo $75 for the down pipe. $50 for the SS lines and adapters $25 for the intake That gives you some starting points if you want to buy specific pieces. I also have some brand new steel gaskets for the turbo I will kick in if someone is interested in buying the full deal.
  6. bump for new parts. pics to be added later.

    SOLD

Also, im not sweating it too much now but I may start stripping mods to lower the price the closer I get to my deadline. Starting w/ swapping out the 16g for a 14b or 12a. Possibly the sway bars, and putting the regular D2 pillow bal mounts back in instead of the MK1 adjustable ones. Would really like to avoid this as it means that new owner would need a new allignment, but we'll see if it gets to that point.
  8. Yes you read it right. Im selling my car but if I cant get asking price Im thiking of removing parts and lowering the price. It currently has a big 16g turbo in a 12a exhaust housing which was bored to fit the turbine wheel. If I can't find a good condition 12a for cheap, Im thinking of swapping in a 14b since they are abundant and cheap. Since the housing is already bored to fit a td05h wheel, will it work with the 14b? If I remember correctly the 14b is also a TD05H but im not 100% sure on that one.
  9. I have one w/ both fans. im not sure if it has the sensors in it i can check when i get home. Located in TX.

  15. I installed my D2s beginning of last month and I just now noticed that they seem to sit lower then when I had set them after the install. After the install I set them to around 26" from top of wheel well to bottom of the tire. All 4 dampers are on the hardest setting and the springs were preloaded 2 full turns. There was enough gap between the top of the tire and the wheel well to put my fingers in flat. I look at it now and there is no visible gap like before and now measures around 25.5" from wheel well to floor. Interesting thing is that it seems to have settled the same amount around all 4 corners. I jacked up the car by the rear cross member and double checked everything was till tight. Looked good and I set the car back down. The car now looks to sit with the same height as it did after first install. I sat on the hatch and bounced a bit to see if it lowered but didnt seem to. Drove the car to work the morning and now looks to have "settled" back to the lower height. Is this normal for D2s? If so I may look to bring it up another half inch or so to compensate. I like the height I had it at after the install.

  17. Before I did the D2/poly bushing install my car would make a rattling noise on a take off from a stop. I thought this was because of bad suspension (blown shocks) but i read later that it could be bad TT mounts. When I did the install I checked the TT mounts and did notice some play w/ a pry bar. I couldnt find a poly set and decided to wait a bit on ordering new OEM ones. Now that the car is back together and driving for a few weeks, I've noticed I no longer get that rattle noise at take off, so maybe my thought of bad suspension was correct the first time. What I do notice though is that in between shifts if I shift fast/hard i get a loud CLUNK from the rear end when I let off the clutch. In any gear. I clutch, go to next gear, and gas/let off the clutch, there's a loud CLUNK you can hear/feel from the rear as I do so. If i gas/slip off the clutch SLOWLY between shifts, its not there. Never noticed this before the install but if it was there before it was not this pronounced. I have a few ideas of what this might be but thought I could run them by you guys. 1. Play in the TT or diff mounts, causing the diff to hit underneath the car whenever rotational force is transferred to it? Possibly left some play in there when I was bolting the rear end back in? I torqued everything down to spec and triple checked my work but maybe something is still off? Or maybe the poly bushings are leaving some play back there? 2. When I was under the car during the install, I noticed the TT had some rotational play when i spun it by hand. Maybe a 1/4" or so. I read this could be caused by bad teeth in the TT but I didnt open it up to check the condition. Also thought this may have been the cause of the before mentioned rattle during accel from stop. Now I'm thinking the clunk maybe due to that play, as the TT might travel a 1/4" or so before the teeth 'grab' w/ the diff? 3. Just the result of a stiffer suspension and I'm feeling/hearing more of the normal rotational force transfer than I did before? I hope I explained this correctly and maybe you guys can point me in the right direction. Thanks.
  18. looking for these right? http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/uploads/gallery/album_1127/gallery_7736_1127_134529.jpg
