These parts on the car are no longer new. I have approx. 21,xxx on the head and gasket. The gasket was the silver one, I bought from quest performance. I did pull the plugs and the plug in the cylinder with hardly any compression was grey almost black. Not caked with oil or anything just black in color. The other three were a light tanish red.

Here is the problem at hand. To start off with I am sure that I will find the problem when I take it apart, but would like some opions on what to look for. Last Oct while running my car it started blowing gobs of white smoke out the tail pipe. Not knowing right of hand what that might have been I parked it for the winter. Over the winter I had the turbo freshened up and I put it all back together last weekend. Obviously it is still smoking or I wouldn't be writing this. The car runs great. Just smokes. It is smoke and not steam also. Did a compression check and #2 cylinder was WAY low (35) Do you think I have head problems, gasket or ring problems. I have a marnel head, arp studs and metal head gasket. Any opions appreciated. Thanks in advance. Jake

he said the rear quarters were pretty rusty. That is about all he said and I didn't ask anymore after he admitted the pictures were just some he had gotten over the internet. Call him.

called the # and the guy admitted that the pictures were not of his car. He said his car is just like mine but not in as good of shape. And he should have his own pictures of his own car up by Monday. We shall see.

yep that is mine. I have contacted Autotrader that the listing was a fraud. Yes the car is still in Missouri. Thanks Mike for informing me of it. That a**hole is only asking $1600. I also contacted the seller. We will see if he will respond. I will keep everyone updated.
