  1. OK, in that event, you can change it to state the car is no longer for sale and you're keeping it. You may have found most members do not read past the first post on threads, so doing this will save you having to reply further.
  2. Dealers have a lot of latitude for add-on parts. I have a 1991 Daytona CS with ground effects. If you research the car, they were not an option. I bought it from the brother of the original owner. She worked at the dealer & dated the parts manager. He talked her into ordering a set of the parts and the dealer installed them. Add-ons such as mudflaps may have been the same way, the source may have been different by the time the dealer added them. The added pics are high-resolution and look great. Shipping is $950 from there to here, so I have to check out some closer vehicles first.
  3. Check out his gallery, it has more pics & they are better quality.
  4. I looked at a pic of another '87, and combined the two: It looks to be the same size, but it looks like it has a raised gasket, which is what some aftermarket sunroofs use.

    Just for fun

    Funny pics as needed
  6. This is close to what I'm looking for. I'll look at a shipping quote. The AC would be a must here in Florida. Can you explain red LED headlights or are the LEDs elsewhere?
  7. This is likely it based upon the location. Save $500 and buy via Craigslist. http://wausau.craigslist.org/cto/4249256635.html Pics from the ad: http://images.craigslist.org/00R0R_gOlm1CCpgoy_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00o0o_8ROeATKOB8U_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00k0k_261oNKootjp_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00W0W_lRiUPSEMMDW_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00909_eX0CfMICbEP_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00Z0Z_3yyso8iBB4A_600x450.jpg http://images.craigslist.org/00n0n_iwVdFF2FvvG_600x450.jpg
  8. Found his post about it, and it has a tan interior. And yes, I'm as picky about those as I am about a SQ. I'm going to lay out a few thousand for a car as opposed to the usual < $1K for a project, so I want to get it the way I want it as much as possible.
  9. This is not related to your trade issue, but since I have not been able to find a SQ, I've been reading about the Z32 300ZX. Your hood situation sounds like a misaligned radiator support. I read about it on a FAQ page: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Buyer%27s+Guide "If the hood kind of looks like it's popped even when it's not, this is usually an indication that the car has been jacked up from the radiator core support. This is reparable (and replaceable if you really wanted), but could be an indicator of a less-than-meticulous previous owner." Hope this helps. For what it's worth, from what I've read, I'd keep your car.
  10. Doing the normal shopping site thing, I'd say there are easily 500 300ZX models listed for sale for every SQ listed.
  11. Agreed, but my operational occasional-use car is gone, my truck is broken, and I can't ride a bike in wet weather such as today. I need to get something reliable for use that meets certain specs. After looking at a bunch of cars, I've narrowed it down to a SQ or Z32. The SQ market for what I want is soft- lots of cars w/o a sunroof, few with working AC. The Nissans don't seem to be so hard to come by in my desired condition.
  12. If you click the "Edit" button towards the right bottom of your post, you can change it to state the car is sold.
  13. Too bad it's got the burgundy interior, otherwise it appears close to what I'm looking for (see link under Jake Blues below).
  14. Just curious if the photo posting here actually works. Trying to link above image using the "Image" button here: http://i620.photobucket.com/albums/tt284/in_line_motors/Conquest/IMG_1070_zps13cf6a2f.jpg Yup, looks good.
