Lol I hear ya . I once tried welding a bov flange on with one of those type welder sit was so ugly.
I just stay with the good old arc/ stick welder for that reason

The m9 head was one that raised compression way high I thought.
Not sure. .. Think those are like 78- 80 ish
I'd assume the older castings were Spain cast.
There's rumors that the stock heads had a "harder" casting to cut through.
But I can't confirm anything.

I can't find much at all about it on the Internet,other than one thing I saw where It could be a stock nonjetvalve head from a car overseas.
Don't quote me on that though.
So it's between this one and there's the M28 casting that seems to be the head sold the most these days.
Anyone know a marnal supplier?

It is on a remanufactured head so maybe it's old like you are saying.

I sold a set about 3 years ago for $400 maybe you'd get little more these days I'd think.
Wish I'd at least made a fiberglass mold for them for reproduction. But I was in financial troubles.
Same with mudflaps..
