  1. Well done John!! The fact that you smoked an R8 and Lambo with a car truly built in your garage with your hands... well, Im blown away. I know if I was you I would put that on my resume or something, thats freaking awesome! Super pumped to see you pushing the limits and getting our cars more exposure.
  2. I had mark do a set of SHPs for mean few weeks ago and they came out great!! Ill post some pics for anyone wanting to see how they look after he is done with em.
  3. Perez I don't have your #, shoot me a pm or text if you still have my number
  4. I would die for a nice 4 door S4 of that generation. I drove an 05 Avant which was a lot of fun, but with the auto just didnt really feel all that fast to me. My uncle took me for a spin in his 05 S4 convertible last weekend with a 6 speed, and holy poop that car was fast. Thats a steal for 11k man!
  5. Hey all,I have a 14B that I would like to try on my car. However, I dont have the J pipe that those turbos use. Does anyone have one laying around? Phil
  6. Thanks for the offer, but I am hoping to find something ready to drop in and roll.
  7. You know thats a great question. I know the auto cars have the OD on/off light there, but I cant think of what else goes there off the top of my head. I can check on my car when I get home and post back if I see anything else though.
  8. Climate control sold! Gauge cluster still up for grabs
  9. Hey all, I have an 89 gauge cluster in nice shape reading 118,118 miles. The trip odometer reset is still in tact and works perfect. Clean Plexiglas cover with the exception of one smudge below the tach which you can see in the pics. Looking for 70 shipped. I also have an 89 climate control unit in pretty nice shape, with the mounting tabs in tact. Some wear as you can see, but I would say much better than average condition. 40 shipped. Feel free to pm me or call/text at 804-314-5938. Thanks! 10. I'm looking for a running motor or a rusty/ wrecked running car within a reasonable driving distance of central virginia. I'd be fine with just a bottom end, I have a head and manifolds I can use. If you have anything, let me know via pm or feel free to call/ text me at 804-314-5938. Help me save a rust free 86 with a rod knock!!! Thanks Phil
  11. If you are running a factory or bolt on Turbo under 15 psi, Id think you will be just fine with a felpro. I know some people have had bad luck with the ajusas, but for some they never had an issue. I've had great luck with felpro and arp's personally.
  12. Wow! Just like my first quest . man, if I had the money would buy that in a hearbeat. The paint and body is beautiful. And I love that it still has the 87 airdam and the paint is correct with the black strip at the bottom. If I win the lottery or something along those lines you will be hearing from me
  13. Jeff pm me what you have mang. Whoops, sorry bout that. Guess that's what I get for posting half asleep. Mods feel free to move this. The injectors are from fuel injection clinic and have maybe 2500 miles on them. It also ran identically with a pair of stock injectors on it.
  14. As the title states, I want a known good maf translator or 1g maf. I am fighting an overly rich condition, and no amount of adjustment on my maf-t seemed to change the afr's. It runs the same with it unplugged, so I'm pretty sure that is my issue. Lmk what you have! I know cash is king but I have a bunch of stuff I could trade if you need anything.
  15. I have a nice ecu wiring harness from an 89 parts car. The only cut wires are the injector clips. Not hacked up otherwise. 120 shipped for the harness alone, or 180 and ill include the ecu and knock box
  16. LOL Ive never heard it put that way but so true. I am no fan of Obamacare. Fanta I looked through your first post (holy lot of info batman!) and dont know if you touched on the ballooning rates that come in coming years, as subsidies designed to ease the "sticker shock" expire, and we are left with just purchasing healthcare at face value. http://www.forbes.com/sites/theapothecary/2013/09/25/double-down-obamacare-will-increase-avg-individual-market-insurance-premiums-by-99-for-men-62-for-women/ This article I found on a quick google search seems to show that unless you live in one of a handful of states, your rates are guaranteed to jump from 10-200+ percent, for people in the younger age brackets. I recognize the current healthcare system is flawed, but I fail to see how this is the best way to fix it.
  17. Looks like yall had a blast. One day a national meet will be in the cards for me. Great pics guys! BTW I was looking through Harry's album, who is the guy with the insane beard? Respect... lol
  18. Thanks for the replies fellas. So I looked at the coil wiring more closely, and found that it was wired incorrectly. Moved one wire from the positive to the negative and voila, I has spark! Next on the list is a fuel pump, It doesnt seem to be working, but has power to it. It did start and run briefly on ether in the TB, so I'm sure Ill be back with more questions once I get it pumping fuel. Oh yeah, with the exception of the boost sensor on the firewall, and the sensor that goes into the OVCP, are there any 86 specific sensors? All the coolant sensors have been taken off of the intake manifold.
  19. Well I've been looking for a job now that I'm back home, which can be an exhausting endeavor in itself.. lol. But, I put a new motor in my black car, and have some things to iron out still but it's getting there. I've also been working on an 86 I brought home a few weeks ago, i got it to run for a few second on ether in the throttle body, so a fuel pump and cleaning of the fuel system is happening now. And I helped out a buddy and replaced the fuel pump and brake master cylinder on his 88 Tsi. And when I get my black car and this 86 sorted out, I have to dig into my other project, a red 88 with no oil pressure. Oh, and I've been helping my dad do renovation work on a house originally built in the 1700s.
  20. Ive run xtd clutches from eBay and they have been great for me. Super cheap too
  21. How complete is the 86 parts car? I'm trying to revive an 86 that is missing all the sensors on the intake manifold and some other stuff that may be 86 specific..
  22. Man great deal here. These should sell quick!
