  1. Not to hijack but I had a similar issue with Trilogies that I got used. The car would barely idle and then die. Stock run fine. I had to get a new set of injectors from Lower Shores. They do the same thing which is annoying if these are supposed to be a direct swap. I did get another used secondary to replace the one that went bad and it works fine. Do you have to re tune (set idle and TPS) with either the Trilogy or the Lower Shore injectors?
  2. I need to update mine. I think I broke one. I might work on it some over the weekend. I also need to pull the instrument cluster to replace the coolant gauge and might update the lighting in there where I am at it.
  3. I prefer downshifting...no brake lights to warn the tailgaters.
  4. Always something!! So I got my 17C installed again after extracting a sheered stud and extracting and heli-coiling a new bolt for the waste gate, EGT sensor installed in the exhaust manifold and routed but not hooked up to the gauge yet. I lost an injector clip while installing the injectors to test if they are good, then the o-ring for the TB fuel line decided to spring a leak while trying to prime the lines and then the battery did not have enough power to crank the engine so I could prime the oil line for the turbo I hate these last minute failures and repairs. Stressful. I basically have 7 days to test everything out before I leave for Branson and then on to PF.
  5. It is stock. We'll see how things look when I install the new injectors. Coke put the tester on it last PF meet and we dialed everything in.
  6. It stay within your range with only minimal amount of fluctuation when I am at a steady cruise versus bebopping back and forth like the swiss movement of a wind up watch. It has been a while since I have driven it and it is apart right now for new injectors, turbo swap, and EGT install so I can't say for sure what the values are.
  7. Yeah, I was thinking 2 or 3. If I put it underneath opposite of the turbo flange, it will put it across from cylinder 2. The probe will be out of the way and hidden but may also be a PITA to get to should I need to access it.   8. I typically get about 17 city and 22 hwy and that was as of last trip to PF. My car was not running its best. Before leaving PF we put it on the tester and calibrated everything again. The ISC was way off which threw everything else off. AF now reads steady at cruise. Mods are as follows: TB enlarged Intake manifold extrude honed Block bored 0.030" over Exhaust manifold ported/matched 16G as of last year but going back to my 17C turbo turbo manifold ported and matched 3" exhaust with hi flow cat
  9. I am about to install my EGT and would like to know the best place for the probe. One personal website had it in runner #3 on top but I was thinking of placing it on the under side in the middle where all four runners come together just opposite of where the turbo mounts. Thoughts?
  10. Thanks! I got a pair coming from LS and I also have a used one coming from someone to test out. RC is sending the good on back and will keep that as a spare primary since they serviced it already.
  11. So RC End called and told me that my secondary is bad. I have a few PMs sent out for replacements. Are they any other suggestions for OEM replacements? I need to get a replacement by next week in order to make the meets. I have plenty of primaries.
  12. Thanks. I should have most everything by then, if not, I can reuse old hardware for the trip. Main thing is to clean out the garage, get some stuff to machine shop to extract the frozen/broken studs and clean out the threads.
  13. Okies, I am still not sure when I will leave. I'm looking at 11 hr drive depending on stops, etc., and if the car will be ready by then. I just ordered a whole bunch of exhaust hardware so I can go back to my 17C turbo. Right now I have 3 turbos all with broken studs in each housing and my 17C housing is the one I ported and matched. My injectors should be back next week.

  15. Do you know which sections of I-75? Tim, I will be coming out of Indy if all goes to plan (Branson meet then IN to see friends then PF). If I-75 has a lot of construction, I can try to meet up with the convoy in Nashville instead of my normal Indy to Cinci to Knox route.
  16. I've got a new coil, plugs, wires, fuel filter, PCV, and my injectors are out at RC Eng right now. Should have them back in a few days. Hopefully that solves the sputter issues I had.
  17. All, are there any Texans caravaning to Branson? I am still tentative on attending and will be coming out of Austin. I can meet up with people in Dallas.
  18. She should not move in at all. It will cause nothing but trouble. Been there, done that. My house. Kicked them both out, door hit them on the way out.
  19. Just be sure to save your components in case your county decides to start sniffing. My county did and I had to go back and re-attach everything. In 2013 when my car turns 25, I won't have to worry about it anymore.
  20. Good thing to check. This happened to me and I ended up welding my cable. In addition to the standard grounds, I added a ground from the strut tower to the top of the turbo and then again from the strut tower to the intake manifold just to ensure.
  21. If this is the Oct meet, I will try to come in from Austin. Depends on vacation time left and funds. I would like to get a hat trick with meets this years.
  22. Mine had been my daily driver from Sept 1991 to Sept 2009. Now I split time 75/25 with XTerra/Starion.
  23. Well fuel delivery is still stock up to injectors. TB had been enlarged, intake manifold extrude honed, block 0.030" over, exhaust manifold ported/matched, 17C turbo with exhaust matched to down pipe, 3" exhaust turbo back. Ignition is still stock except for Blaster coil.
