So I had some time over the weekend to install the front spoiler and it was a pain to do with the monster intercooler. The spoiler was cracked a good many years ago by my dad moving the car around in his front yard when it was sitting at his house. He ran over a stump of all things... I had to have done that 5 times at work today and it wouldnt work. Just done it on the iPad at home and it worked. Go figure. Thanks importwarrior for your EXPERT computer skills. Hope to have some better videos soon.

I have 88 28 spline axles with the 86 4 bolt knuckles. I believe the 86 axles are 26 spline? Evidently you can do it cause that is how mine were set up when my dad swapped them. I haven't looked on the inside of the boot where it connects. So I can't tell you right now how's it hooked up but it's never gave me a problem other than the popping issue they are having now. They have been on the car since 2000. I now need new/used 88 or 89 axles because I now have the hubs to switch it all to 6-bolt. I can take pictures of them tonight and post them.

Well, here's the deal. When I first got this car my dad and I put a new clutch in it. Drove it around the block and tore the rear end out of it. So we swapped the rear end out with the 88 parts car we had. I was 17 at the time. So instead of doing the whole swap my dad hooked me up with the 88 rear axles out of my wrecked quest and swapped out the 6 bolt knuckles with my 86 4 bolt ones. Seem like a good idea at the time. Now I'm cussing him...lol. The boots are tore. They are clicking real bad. I've got the 6 bolt hubs from a member here. I ordered new bearings lastnight for those. Just needing a nice pair of axles that'll work. I'm just over in Kannapolis. So I'm not far from you at all.

I'm in need of a nice set of 88 or 89 rear axles. If anyone can help me out I would appreciate it. I've looked all over the net and can't find any rebuilt ones.

That's what Im going to have to do with mine until I figure it out. It's way to low to drive around and be practical....

Hey man, what did you do with your front sway bar? Mine is way to low with the way I have it done now. I've got it spaced about 2 1/2" to 3" from the stock location. I've drove the car a couple times now and the sway bar is dragging over bumps. I was just wondering what others had as a set up with that.

So I finally had a DAY off. I had been working nightshift for 2 months. I took the car out to see how reliable it was and this thing is a blast to drive with this motor. After seeing everything was holding up to normal driving, I mashed the gas to see what it was boosting. At 16 psi this thing is going to be a blast to drive once it gets tuned. Once the boost came in the car started spinning the tires running around 20 mph...lol. I couldnt wipe the smile off my face. I have another few weeks of long hour weeks and being out of town for work. Can't wait to get back home and have this thing tuned. My quest is now back on the road......

I'd like the 6-bolt conversion pieces....

I would like the A pillar interior pieces if you still have them. Also the upper door panel peices I'm interested in.
