  1. I love the spare enkei wheels that come with rx-7's I was thinking today about getting one. P.S. THe only ones that had 5 bolt aluminum spares were turbo II cars which are kinda rare. The base models have nice aluminum 4 bolts of the same type and GXL's are 5 bolt but come with steel spares.
  2. I am in the process of installing a non jet valve caravan head on my conquest but the cam is a different size. has any one else run into this problem , and what are the differentces, I must go back to the junk yard for the right cam and don't want to get another incorrect one, is there a difference between nonjet and jet or caravan and conquest? Thanks.
  3. Yeah I realized lowering fuel pressure would be a bad idea.
  4. It was jsut a though, I guess the sizing of the injectors woudl have to be considered or somethign, but the megasquirt looks awsome. I looked into DIY efi a while ago but there was nothign that coudl be bought. I email them about buying them, I'll take two, I am about to run out to the store and buy some etching supplies.
  5. Well I am not really lean on boost I just read that its a bit lean with the maf disconnected. As far as the FPR, if fours injectors increase the fuel across the board then maybe it woudl be possible to reduce it.
  6. I didn't notice that until zactek said something, I guess I will continue my search. I have though about other cars with nice air dams that can be converted cheap. I notice the dodge daytona has a nice one but the sides are definatly longer, would require some modification.
  7. Since the 86 has injectors that are equal and fire at the same time, woudl it be possible to make an mpi system where two more injectors are connected to the same wires as the first two and controlled by the stock computer? I know that the computer my not be able to drive two injectors where there was origianlly one but that might be controlled a bit with changing the resistances or perhaps haing the computer drive a transistor that opens the injectors. And also fuel flow would be increase but thats ok because its generally lean with boost and that coudl be fine tuned with a pressure regulator. What do you guys think?
  8. Ilike the way you think, although the exhaust woudl be rather dirty, and a new piece of mandrel bent tubbing costs about $10 so it not alot of money at all.
  9. I found this site from Coltspeed in Austrailia that sells one piece bumpers , I was wondering if any body has heard of them or ordered one of these. I have emailed them askign about shipping cost and the possibility of a group purchase to mayeb save on ship and cost. http://members.optushome.com.au/coltspeed/starionfront.html
