  1. I also have variuos knock boxes, none of the 88-89 style, $10 shipped just tell me the number you need and Ill see if I have it. fuel rail that I bead blasted so it doesnt have all the corrosion, $10 shipped stainless braided brake lines. One of the lines has been rubbed through by the strut so i recommend sourcing another. $15 shipped. K&N filter for 1G MAS air can. $20 shipped Ill be adding more stuff as I sift through my storage.
  2. I have 2 cone air filters with 3 inch inlet. Pay the shipping and you can have them. Manuals are really worn but nice to have if you own one of these years. First come first serve. I only expect exact shipping cost no less no more.
  3. Sorry Jinx but I gotta defend my buddy Art on this one. The distributor does not turn at the same speed as the Camshafts. The distributor is overdriven!
  4. Art came through with a part I really needed. He even offered to meet me halfway since we live far apart. Thanks Man!
  5. 76lb= 798cc and 86lb=903cc. 76lb supports about 469 hp and 86lb supports about 531 hp.
  6. B&M $200, or ford taurus SHO $10. Ill take the SHO, dont need a fan, trust me. The cold end of the cooler is barely warm, while the inlet side is blazing hot. Save the other $190 and upgrade the radiator instead.
  7. I know youre not trying to knock me man, I was just stating my goals for the car. I also just wanna prove it can be done cheap ( with alot of work of course but cheap)!
  8. $1230 isnt bad, probably a good HP/ $ ratio. So far Im at about $200 and i pretty much got everything i need. I dont see it going over $300. Mainly because everything is custom made by me. So I should have a running MPI for about the price of an MSD ignition box. Also if I count the parts I sold off of the car (ECU, TB, ETC ETC) Im actaully in a surplus because I made more than $200 off that stuff.
  9. I wanted to stay with mitsu parts. Im not going with a stand alone because I just want reliability with MPI. Im not trying to make over 300 HP, so I dont need a stand alone. Im not gonna tweak and tweak for every last horsepower, just wanna be able to drive my car every day but I want MPI. Jinx, I wont be using any of the starion electronics. Everything is being upgraded and i will be runnning the eclipse DIS so I wont need the knock box or distributor. Im running the CAS from the distributor shaft. Boosted one, I agree, Ford makes great ECU's but im trying to stick with mitsu parts.
  10. I can send you a pic of one I was gonna use. I dont know exactly what you mean by inline but if you mean that it comes straight out the side of the head instead of turning upwards this is one of those. Its from a ford escort if I remember right. But i went with the eclipse cuz like i said it accomodates the use of all the eclipse sensors. Just more fabrication.
  11. The Tstat will not mount to the flange where the stock location is. Im working on that right now, basically its gonna extend out about 8 inches to clear the bottom of the throttle body. I already have a flange made and Im using the eclipse water neck to accommodate the use of the eclipse CTS. As for the injectors my goal is 2-3 mS pulse width at idle. Ill figure it through trial and error using different injectors.
  12. Think of it this way. Whats easier to boil, 1 quart of water or 2 quarts of water. More overall fluid disipates heat better. The oil cooler adds capacity with out going over oil pan capacity
  13. I see you finally put that thing in, Good work Art! Works great ha! It worked perfect for me also. The oil cooler is from the early 90's Ford taurus sho for those who would like to use it. To answer heefner's question, it did not affect engine temps, actually it lowered the temps a bit. Hey Art wait til you see my new power steering pump oil cooler.
