installed a new output shaft seal of which the old one didn't look that bad and it still leaks. Oil is being slung out on the driveshaft tunnel in only a few miles of driving. What am I missing? TIA :confused0024:

Hey Dad, Went to Napa website and that part # pulls up as a combination X-beam wrench. Also called a local Napa store and they got the same thing. Nor did they have a listing for a connector for our cars. Will another connector work?

Stock 87 4-bolt rear. To clarify the Misconseption (sp?) that the 4bolt is weak One thing I know for sure, our rear end IS NOT WEAK! I've seen this car, in person, last Wednesday, up on the lift. It does have the stock rear end. Not saying I'm a rear end expert but even I asked him if he had done anything to it, he said it was bone stock. He has no reason to lie so hopefully this will end the debate about the strength of a "properly maintained" Quest rear end.

It doesn't seem too terribly hard to install. Is there anything you didn't like about it? Even though it's expensive, it's probably the best way to go (aggrivation wise) besides it looks so good it will make me tidy up the rest of my engine compartment. Looking forward to dyno numbers. How much tuning did you have to do to the Hurricane system once you got it running? MPI is on my list. Been researching and weigh cost of DIY verses buying ready to rock. TIA.

Looking for a NEW one. My tank and cap are cracked. I can get'em all day long at our local junkyards but their in the same condition mine is in. So I'm want to get them new and hopefully at a descent price or a aftermarket replacement that would work. Even a different type/part # that will mount like our 87's would be cool. Thanks in advance.

prefferably the new 1 piece oem replacement for 87 widebody(Starion) or a good condition used one.

There is a red quest in the gallery with do-luck double six's on it. I know its a photoshop hacked photo but it's got me drueling! Surely they make this wheel to fit our cars. A set of these in chrome(18x8 fronts, 18x10.5 rear) would set me completely off! Do-Luck.com got some crazy hot pics in their gallery. So is this fact or fiction for our cars.
