  1. Well stupid me took off the clip off the differential side of the cv axel that holds the balls and cup thinking I could take it apart like I did the other side and clean it. Now I can't slide it back in the groove. Anyone know how to get it back on?
  2. Tried them too. One dealer in Michigan has (1). Seems to be the only place. But still looking for (1) new one. I know he died a while back but never heard any of his songs.

  5. Ive called everyone I can think of for these bushings and nobody has them. I need 2 of them new if possible.
  6. Just did the u joints on both sides. I'll be taking out both shafs and go from there.

  8. Hey Lance, went and messed with it a little more. With the wheels off, I can turn the spindle but the axel doesnt turn directely with it. It has some play. I can rotate the spindle back and forth and huge play. I was wondering why I heard some clancking noises when I would take off some times.
  9. Would it cause this type of vibration though?
  10. Took the car for a drive with the new torque converter. Got on in 3rd and started having a pulsating vibration that shakes the whole car. Mostly from the rear. Not to bad at around 20-30mph but when I get past that, it has a bad vibration. Got the rear end up on jacks and both axels wobble. Could this cause the vibration? Btw, car has 302 blow thru turbo with auto.
  11. Got it all back together. Takes a little getting use to. Haven't hooked up the lock up and overdrive yet buy I will next week. Just wanted to see if the trans worked good. The torque converter works great. Definitely spools way better and you can here the turbo more now. Only issue is the deep pan is way to big. Sits about 3 inches from the ground.   13. K, just installed the mvb from transgo. Hopefully I did it right. Got my deep trans pan today. Got to tap for trans temp sensor. Now just waiting on my converter. It should be here by Friday. I'll get some pics tomorrow.

  15. K, don't price the hood but I'm also looking for the hood prop rod and the instrument cluster front clear cover If it's in good shape.

  17. Trying to find out how to make my factory tach work with my 302. Anyone know which wire to use or if it will even work?

  19. How much for the turn signal, steering wheel, valance (header panel?), steering box (if it doesn't leak), and possibly the hood shipped to 70634 business.
  20. Drives just like a normal car until boost. Intake is older style edelbrock single plane. Almost identical to a weiand excellerator.
  21. Been a while since I posted anything. Took out the tko and put in a stock aod and stock stall. Different car with auto for sure. It lasted bout 2 months and now I'm putting a 4r70w with transgo full manual shift. Ordered a converter from Circle D. It was expensive but gotta pay if you wanna play. Just installed a hammer shifter while I'm waiting for the converter. I'll try and get some pics later on. Almost forgot, put a 12lb wastage spring. Wow! She's got some torque. Really a fun car.
  22. I used a mallory 4309 boost reference and modified the stock pickup tube. But I ran -8 and -10 fuel lines.
  23. Yeah, I forgot to mention the blow thru carb 302 I have. Been a while since I updated that project.
