  1. Isn't it true that you can go too big with sway bars too, just like you can go too stiff with springs?  A larger sway bar effectively increases the spring rate when the wheels on one "axle" move up/down at different rates.  If both wheels go up/down at the same rate, no prob.  But if one wheel hits a pothole/bump, that extra spring rate that resists body roll under lateral acceleration will also act as though the spring has a higher rate on that corner contributing to a choppier ride?

Sorry to go on a tangent, just considering the two options for the front bar.

  2. UPDATE:  After sanding the hood for 3 hours I've found that it has been repainted twice and worked for dings at least once, but it still has ZERO rust, which was the big thing for me 'cause I hate rust.  The picture with the numbers on it is of one of the high spots in the hood.  9 layers of paint, wow.

Haha..  9 layers of paint..  I know the feeling.  I stripped a hood on my 78' 280z with about the same.  Talk about time consuming, tedious work stripping and prepping that hood.

  3. is anyone interested in getting both the adjustable shock setup AND a coilover kit?

I would like to sell a kit to someone at a reduced price so they can install it quickly and give us feedback and make sure everything is jolly. its to sort of test and double check for easy of installation to make sure the fasteners and other small misc. stuff fit well by someone elses opinion.

    Ooh, ooh..  Me  <raising hand>   ;D

  5. I wonder, short of going to a shop that specializes in camber degreeing, is there anyway for us DIY-ers to accurately degree the cambers as close to zero with perhaps a simple tool that we're not aware of?

Too bad Art couldnt machine a small reference mark on the camber plate for the stock location and maybe +/- .5 or 1 degree.  I'm sure that would add to the price though and most Quest owners are super cost conscious.
