Ok good to know. When you say tuning device do you mean piggy back ecu? Or a programmer if they make them for our cars. Has anyone tried to use a Cobbtuning accessport or have something similar?

I've been searching forums can't find anything on anyone running E85. If there is anyone, what injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure do you use? And anything else is needed? Sorry I thought I put this in Advanced...

Well I fixed one problem today, found out my vacuum advanced was bad. I always wondered why she started popping at 4k lol, but still can't figure out the MAS

So I've finally had the chance to work on her more. I removed the air filter and canister to see what it looked like under it and have pictures of the gruesome carnage under it. For some reason I can't upload it on my phone, but one vac line is only connected. Everything else is clipped, also can I remove the secondary canister?

She's not the prrrtiest but I signed up.

My car idles fine without the MAS connected.

Ok I've sort of figured out my problem. There was a short in my wiring and I got that fixed but now my car starts but it won't idle with the MAS plugged in. But I have to add that the vacuum lines are just a mess... the previous owner tried "removing" them but he for some reason rerouted them and left some open. I assume this would be causing my idle problem?

Some guy I'm pretty sure from this forum was there running an auto conquest with I'm pretty sure was a hemi in it, but that's not the best part... it also had twin turbos put on the dyno and pushed 808 for a final pull!

So first off I haven't touched any electrical on my 86 starion. I bought the car because it was in such nicr shape for a MN starion. ( one rust spot the size of a quarter) but when I test drove it I noticed the MAS wasn't plugged in and I asked the guy about it. All he said was it's about the ecu being able to still drive with out it, so I believed him and bought the car, it's been 6 months and this is my first post and I need help! All the wiring is fine and intact ( besides vacuum lines) I rebuilt the motor, but didn't touch wiring sooooooooo my question would be is the MAS shot??
