Let me do some brain storming tonight and work on something tomorrow. I think I may have come up with a solution.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Perhaps the pictures don't do it justice. Cause I thought it looked sexy in person. Anyhow Here's a couple reasons I did it this way: I thought I'd use the existing mounting holes in there. I did mock it up with the fog box in the center, but the fog box won't fit in between the mounting holes without cutting them out, And it won't fit in there flush because the back of that hole is not vertical. It's probably at a 10-13 deg slant. So when I did the mount I had to recess and slant the box (shown is the second photo) so the foglights wouldn't be pointing up in the air when they are on. http://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/foghole.jpg http://www.getyasumminimotos.com/Conquest/mountangle.jpg I could do a simple bracket on the top of the fogbox to affix to the top of the hole like this. But You'd have to dremmel out all of that old mounting points in the bumper fog hole. Got the mounts worked up. Here's the final product. I have a buddy that is going to let me use his water jet to cut to the pieces I need. So will have nice clean cut parts to work with. Let me know if you guys like this mount or not. I'm Sure you could make it work. You will be removing the entire old stock assembly. So if those covers bold up to that. Then you will need to modify them to work. I'll be working on the mounting bracket tomorrow. I'll be making this as close to a stock look as possible. But If you're worried about keeping your stock fogs in there then this is probably not the product for you.

I have 1 set ready now and working on the second set Still need to make the brackets but that's not a biggie.

When You got your transmission. What parts did you need for it, besides the bellhousing, to bolt it up and make it functional? Mine doesnt have the fork and throw out bearings or anything. Just the input shaft sticking out inside the bell.

What's this i've read about the waterpump to US spec housing? I'm looking to replace the waterpump when i get the engine. Can I buy one for a 2jzgte US engine and be ok?

Yes he said the other connectors were for the ecu. Anyhow. I've decided to go with the 2jzgte off the bat. I've been doing a lot of searching and biding my time for the right deal to come up. I found it. I picked up the R154 tranny for 350. and the 2jzgte for 1700 shipped. just need the bellhousing, flywheel and clutch kit which I think I can get for another 400-500 so i'll have about 2700 2800 in the thing initially. speaking of needing a flywheel. will the 7mgte flywheel work? or has to be a 1jz flywheel

That's a nice bike. Wear your helmet and riding jacket at all times. Trust me, doesn't matter how cool you may thing you look without it.or how hot it is outside, you're even cooler when You don't have road rash up your side and back. or a dent in your head. Don't try to be a stunt king. keep a level head and no matter how much you want to, stay within the speed limit reasonably. I speak all this from experience. I've been down a couple times myself, and have lost several good friends to motorcycle accidents. Most importantly STAY ALERT

For some reason I was thinking the light pattern was going to be close to stock. I like the look of the lens, the circle lights will probably be desirable for some. Not my cup of tea though. Waiting to see the other light patterns
