couldn't on the way up, on the way back i was trying to get home before dark and i had a previous stop to drop off parts ...time was not my freind, BUT i'll see you in a few weeks as we caravan to Houston.......RIGHT ?

i left way too early friday AM and drove the chally to a HUGE MOPAR show in lebanon, TN ... man what a nice show
about 180 MOPARS with great people and apple pie moonshine 
got home just in time to see the saints get their butt handed to em

Hope that holds for you. From the look of those dark spots it looks like the block and head may have needed to be decked. Did you check it with a straightedge and feeler gauges?
Yes. .0015 feeler gauge did not go under the flat edge on the block or the head that went on it. Didn't check the head that was pulled as it didn't go back on.

you can even crash wednesday night to break up the journey. we're rollin' out thursday early AMWe will see what happens. Right now the head is off and the block is cracked. Hopefully I can get it fixed in time, but the cash is tight as well as the time.
