  1. I almost gave in and didn't put that top bolt in, very frustrating but got it started then 1/4 turn at a time
  2. ISO complete moulding package for entire car (32,33 &34). No luck when looking online with the part numbers given. I believe they only came in black. Let me know what you have. http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/013_zpsgxsm8vmr.jpg
  3. Before..http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/002%208_zpsgjxsqhdg.jpg. and after...clocked the clamps to better locations. the top bolt between the frame and top of tank was a test in patience to reinstall http://i1372.photobucket.com/albums/ag335/pcrist/006%2011_zpsw9vnqnvs.jpg
  4. Thanks Texas, but I tore into it today and Jeff was right. It's just a 4" long straight piece of 2" i.d. rubber hose. Picked up some at Napa for $12 per foot, only I didn't bring my tape measure in there to verify. It's like 1 3/4, and doesn't fit over the bead at the ends. Back to get a larger size, 2" should be perfect. Had to cut the old one in the middle to remove it because the clamp at the tank was in a bad spot to get a wrench or socket on it to loosen.
  5. I can't lie, when I saw you posted I thought ahh...he's got a NOS one to sell me. Wishful thinking
  6. All 88's in so cal failing at the same time haha. My quest did it actually about a year ago
  7. Welcome and good luck! Post wtb OEM license plate bracket or junk yard. Plenty of people removed them (including myself even though they are required here also) and run without them and just run the risk of a fix-it-ticket at worse case. I find if you don't drive and look like a ricer, the cops don't bother me with it. Get plenty of thumbs up and "nice car" comments from cops when they are controlling traffic manually in my area.
  8. I recently saw someone on here made or bought some seats and/or brackets that would allow the front seat to slide further back than the factory allows. I'm 6' even and have it all the way back and could use another click or two myself. Some people think the 86 is the best year of fatty for various reasons. Welcome
  9. Just noticed I must have a cracked or broken fuel filler hose when I went to fill up today. Just started squeezing a couple gallons in, and a couple ounces leaked onto the ground only while filling. Anyways, would that cause it to run a little rough on idle and choppy while cruising? Steady acceleration and wot had no issues, though. Will be replacing it ASAP. Are there any part numbers (assuming NLA and can't get from mitsu) or anyone know what diameter hose to get? I believe it is a straight-ish shape and fairly short. Will an old intercooler hose suffice if it's the correct diameter?
  10. Pre-amps are the rca type plugs one red, one white, like the audio plugs on the back of a TV
  11. Do any have all 3: pre-amp outputs, aux-in and bolt into our cars, or are they all built in amps with no external outputs?
  12. MODS, you can delete this. Shutting this sale down a week early to put this stuff away. If for some reason it stays, parts are still available. Just pm me what you want.
  13. Yes, jealous. Silver quest over black interior(even in flatty form) is my unicorn
  14. NICE! Thanks for following through. May need to get one myself.
  15. I got one too, but nowhere near those prices. I'd grab one of those if I needed one
  16. Yeah, watch that mustang....uh...get smoked!
  17. TTT. only 87 ECU for sale now
  18. probably very true in a lot of cases and not just so cal starquest owners haha. In my case, I know what I want and how much it is worth to me to make it happen.
  19. Typically the "J" stamped black OEM injectors are for '86, 850cc and older except maybe '83's
  20. i was gonna clown on the 13's too...but I thought ehhh it's an 81
