He bought the car awhile ago, he's been trying to sell it for the past 2-3 years. Originally he had it priced (on cl) at 2500 which is why i started to inquire about it but for obvious reasons has dropped it. It needs a new windshield *looks to me like he got mad when he couldnt fix it and smashed it with a rock. To me it looks like it needs new seats (front) i can't remember the back. If i had a parts car already i would be interested in this, but the guy was a little aggressive when i talked to him (he didnt like that i told him it wasnt worth 2500 to me and glws) It has a dent in the back left quarter panel in the wheel well that when you hit a bump it scrapes the tire, i think you could probably just bang it out. Engine seems to be in alright condition. The ebrake doesn't work well so that will need to be reassembled. There were some cracks and dents here and there but i didn't think it was in terrible condition (but im also looking in terms of show car quality) If anyone is in this area i think its worth checking out

Coke- I found it in PA. I have a couple other cars around the Northeast if you are looking for a parts car (condition varying). There's one in the DC area im contemplating getting so i have a nice interior with some spare parts (this one is kind of shot). My bad- it supposedly has some engine upgrades with some higher HP. I was thinking about taking out that engine and saving it til i move to KY or FL and putting in a honda engine to help with gas mileage. I'm basically rebuilding the whole thing from the ground up and i was talking to another guy in my area about trying to make it the best daily driver possible and that was his suggestion. He apparently did it with one of his conquests (he has 3) and he says instead of the 18mpg he gets in one of his he gets almost 32mpg city and more highway. So i was debating doing a whole "gas saver" setup temporarily until i move in a year or two. Then depending on the money situation start souping it back up maybe do an evo swap

Just purchased a white 88 starion with tan interior. It is going to be delivered to my house monday. I will take pictures then and get to transforming it. For the time being i may take the balls out od it because gas is crazy in ny and ill be using it as my daily driver so im debating what to do with the engine components to give me best mpg until i move south in a year or two where ill then be exchanging it back and giving it back its manhood so to speak

blue- if he needs clothes and is a Medium shirt i can donate some clothes to the guy. I shop at salvation army instead of the name brand stores so instead of 40 buying me a single pair of jeans i get like 12 outfit haha. so every year i find someone that can use the extra help (someone with a bunch of kids) family going through a rough time) and redonate clothes. But over the course of a few years i have somehow gained enough clothing to go atleast 6 months without washing a single item of clothing (aside from socks and pants) but i can go the distance pretty good. i probably donate 15-25 construction bags of clothing to families or salvation army a year. I won't give people money (if they're homeless) only because there are so many people that do that to get assistance and then they get in their beamers at the end of the day and are on foodstamps, meanwhile i work 50 hours a week and just barely have enough to get by. BUT if someone needs money for something (be it 5 bucks or 50) i will buy things or food for people. my dad always told me "money is just money, but to know what someone is worth is worth every dollar.... if you loan someone a dollar or 1000,and they dont pay you back or try to? Then it was money well spent... If you get it back then you know they're good people" i also recently have been donating to a charity that has a guy running across the country to raise awareness for systic fibrosis. its called more than just miles. and i also donate to another charity in canada called UNITY which is a hiphop based charity that raises awareness to inner city youthes about alternative lifestyles and emotional release through breakdance, emceeing,graffiti (not on buildings but canvas) and djaying.

I know a woman with an 87 with around 65k original and she knows another woman that has one - but apparently she isnt so friendly. Theyre both half an hour south of buffalo in a little farm town. During the summer when i was looking for a conquest there were TONS of ads for em.. i think what i might do is start PMing the people selling them and chitchat with them about it. Maybe there a bunch more of us we dont even know about, that dont know about this site O_o;;

Hey i dont remember all the details but i know somewhere out near erie, maybe lancaster, there was an auto (no turbo) with 66k original miles for around 1500. If your deal doesnt work out maybe give craigslist a search around for that one (its also auto). it was in pretty decent shape. i almost bought it for my girlfriend because she likes the car and thinks its "cute" but then about a week ago when i told her i might have a surprise for her, she decides to tell me she wouldnt drive it..... ((shake my damn head)) so i told the people forget it but yeah. i saw it just a few days ago. if i find the ad ill forward it your way

Absolutely, Im in buffalo atleast once a month. my gf lives out that way. I know of a few conquest owners and the more i didnt look (when i was just scanning through pages) i found a bunch more. i know of 2 in the buffalo area 3 in the binghamton area 2 in the elmira area obviously now troper and yourself maybe this summer we should set up a northeast get together or atleast for ourselves haha

absolutely, im in most cities upstate quiet frequantly actually. Im a professional breakdancer haha and i compete alot in rochester buffalo and syracuse. So i sort of get a little closer to you. But i will definately be getting ahold of you from time to time

im in binghamton, its about two hours south of you topher texasquest- no kidding, ive done some MINOR work on the 87 but it wasnt until i started reading the info on the site (probably 3-4 months ago) that i realized how much really is done on these cars lol

thanks, i have been for awhile. im lookin at gettin an 88-89 widebody that has a sunroof (if possible) and making it my summer daily driver. the gas in my tahoe is a killer edit: i also have an 87 conquest in the family already so im slightly firmilliar with everything already. but i want one of my own and momma bear wont sell it to me haha
