  1. Hachi- but which struts are ideal? Mookeeh sleeves with mr2 lowered strut inserts?
  2. Just to make sure I was talking about the metal disc plate that is contained behind the actual exhaust turbine, but I hear you on the 12a hotside. I'm using my old talon 14b and inject the O2 manifold from my talon too, but no way to really hook it up without going straight custom exhaust. I'm gonna port the housing the best I can and just have a wastegate tube welded on a conquest downpipe that dumps back into it.
  3. Puttin my 14b/12a housing together right now, which metal shield do I use? The 14b one or 12a? I'm talking about the one the shaft goes through, almost lime a dust shield?
  4. If d2's weren't more than what I paid for my car that might be an option, I have 3 other cars, one being an E36 BMW with a V8, the quest is just a back up. I'm just looking for the average 2 inch drop
  5. Are these struts made to be used with lowering springs or are they just stock replacements?
  6. ^ I'll check out your sig when I get to a computer, my phone app won't show it, I'm intrigued though
  7. ^ anyway to use a palm pilot as a data logger? Sorry if I keep trying to use 1G DSM tricks on a different monster
  8. Alright good to know, can't see spending $$$ on an external wastegate that would need even more $$$ to be routed into the downpipe. I'm guessing theres no company that makes a downpipe that just eliminates the O2 manifold? All I can find are $200+ downpipe that are similar to stock but without the cat
  9. Thanks, I just figured it'd be more efficient just dumping into the downpipe
  10. On the stock o2 manifold I see that where the wastegate flapper looks like it'd be there's a plate? I'm wondering how the exhaust gas is routed once the flapper opens? Is it Rerouted back into the main exhaust housing before it exits?
  11. +1 on the caps it seems as if you're very angry.
  12. LoL, thanks for the confidence booster! SORRY STARFIGHTERPILOT, I totally mangled your thread.
  13. Ok thanks a lot, the "H" was confusing me, thanks for your patience, I've never rebuilt a turbo, but I've rebuilt many heads, would I qualify to do the turbo you think? Lol
