  10. I would vote for semi-matte centers, chrome lips, and red anodized lug nuts.
  11. How much are you asking for the car ??
  12. Pricey wheels, but the right ones can make a car look like a million bucks. Nice work.....
  13. I can sure appreciate all the custom work........but not the outcome.
  14. All I know is Goodyear installed them, and refused to let the car out the door with them rubbing the rim. They said it would be dangerous to operate the car like that. I inspected them and verified them hitting. It would be nice if Techno Toy Tuning would offer to machine these down for those of us who purchased them. I will try and contact them when I get back home next week.
  15. Cannot space out........only about 1/16" of space left. I really want to keep the fender liners in place. I think I will just leave the spacers out for now, and deal with any bump-steering that may be present. I will have these units reduced in thickness, and re-install at a later date. I only wanted to let fellow owners know of the extreme measures that will have to be taken in many cases, to get these to fit. Upon reading this thread, I thought my 17" rims would easily clear. That is not true. I believe 18" rims could possibly clear without modification. Or if you run a 7" wide rim instead of an 8".......you may be OK ??
  16. I cannot move the wheels inwards, because the tires hit the suspension with these installed. I cannot move the wheels outward, because there is only about 1/16" of space between the tire and inner-fender. So what do you propose I do ?? If I raise the car higher again, then there would be no need for the bump-steer blocks. The 20 degree offset is about perfect from what I can tell, as it is centered between the inner-fender well and the suspension. The blocks need to be thinner.
  17. ????? The standard offset on a factory is 18. So why would a 20 be a horrible offset ???
  18. In Florida, you can own a short barreled AR-15, without a tax stamp........IF you put the short barrel on a AR-15 lower unit labeled as a "pistol". This lower unit is alot shorter than a regular AR-15 lower unit. It also does not have a butt stock, just a tube. Such a lower unit must also have been built as a pistol (with short barrel) in its very first build. After that, you can build it back into a standard sized AR or a short barreled rifle as many times as you want. BUT.......you can never use the short barrel with a butt stock, unless you get the $200.00 stamp for a short barrel rifle. I have owned both a 9mm short barreled AR-15, and a short barrel 5.7 X 28 AR-15 rifle. Not sure what other states might allow this, but many do. Definately check with your local gunshop for their legality in your state. In this configuration it is considered a pistol, as it cannot be easily shouldered as a rifle (because of the short tube........instead of a regular length butt stock). Many European police forces use these short-barreled rifles for their choice firearm........many times they are full auto units. I would not consider them toys in close quarters tactical situations. I have shot a full auto 5.7 X 28 PS-90 for real, and I promise you it will destroy a target in quick order. Of course, these are merely my observations and opinions.
  19. I believe you need to use an aftermarket block to bore that big. A Ford Racing block, or better yet......a Dart block will work fine. But you will be skating on thin ice on a factory block that is bored that big.
  20. Count me in as well. Just drop me a line when they are ready. Thanks-
  21. Offset of wheels is 20. I was worried about spacing the wheels out further. The car is pretty low, and I did not want to lose steering ability or have a rubbing issue.......so I had them pulled back off of the car. Maybe if I rolled the wheel wells and spaced the wheels out with a .25 spacer, they should clear. But it would probably be cheaper to machine off @ 1/2" to 3/4" of the thickness of these units. To be honest, the steering is fine without them.
