  1. I believe thats where you adjust balance shaft chain, but thats not no the valve cover!
  2. Thank you sir! Please keep me posted.
  3. This is the guy you need to listen to! StarquestJOE you are why I started mine! Your engine bay looks like it should of rolled out of the assembly line like that!!! I mean it just looks perfect, just my 2.6 cents! It is def not easy, fun but not easy!
  4. Sale is pending on everything at the moment. You're next inline if buyer backs out. It would be $40 minus the pipe.
  5. These two threads helped me a lot... http://starquest.i-x.net/viewtopic.php?t=1180&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0&sid=3ecefa747255afc1b7c546d20b5a4cb6 http://www.26liter.us/forum/index.php?topic=3021.msg23883;highlight=ac+delete+bracket#msg23883
  6. http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z227/vdubu2/CU-42.jpg It's the little one, p/nMD0027751
  7. Well it doesn't look pretty. I'm waiting on an a/c delete bracket & flare up the line for Abs delete. With these two things removed it frees up a ton of space in the engine. Move that tree of relays & fusible link box into the drivers fender too.
  8. I'm in the process on my 87 as well. I'm removing all a/c components and abs, plus those vac lines.
  9. Hello there Mr. Springer, would you happen to have an ac delete bracket?PN#MD0027751
  10. I just happened to look inside it real good only cause I removed it to replace a few things. Like I said I had no symptoms, yet! Haven't really DRIVEN mine yet!
  11. I can get my hands on a t70 which is t3 style but I will need a manifold and wastegate. Can I just take a 14b and stick it in my 8cm hotside?
  12. Oh ok, I was going by this post... http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=129338&pid=1266077&st=0&&do=findComment&comment=1266077
  13. Nevermind guys I figured it out! They rotate differently !
  14. Ok so I'm looking at this 16g off an Evo 8... Will it work? I know it's not a DIRECT bolt on... Needs MY hotside, correct? http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z227/vdubu2/20120327_215027.jpg
  15. I don't know if I would put one in the quest, but I def would put one in my 82 Corolla Liftback! Maybe my Colt instead of the Ol' School 13b! Seems like a fun motor for a nice light body. Oh yeah, I still LOVE your freakin car Jeff!
  16. Looks like a Daytona with old 300z wheels!
  17. So I got the turbo completely off and the only damage seems to be whats in the pic on just the wheel. I do have injectors, pump & regulator to make up for fuel, but I think I'll stick with the big 16g. Where would this ring have been? Got a pic?
  18. I would like the "option" for higher boost when needed? If that makes sense to you at all, lol.
  19. I've been looking at an 18g for quite some time now and been trying to read all thread I can find on this and any turbo! Love my cars, but somewhat new to turbos.
  20. Guess I'll be selling that airdam I bought from Colin to fund this one
  21. It has no shaft play what so ever... so I'm wondering about the screw theory? I had taken all the soft hoses & aircan to give the engine a good cleaning when I bought it, also did tb rebuild!
  22. So I've been taking apart my 87 quest little by little and just happened to look inside my turbo closely and it looked like this... http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z227/vdubu2/Conquest%20Pics/IMG_0085.jpg Car has a little over 100k, never smoked on start up or running and I only drove the car MAYBE a total of 50 miles since I bought her! I planned on getting a bigger turbo later down the road(18g I want)anyways... My concern is did this cause a problem to anything else and if so what should I be most concerned about? Thanks, Juan
  23. I wish I had the money, I would DEF buy her one! http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z227/vdubu2/IMG_0063.jpg
  24. If you have the resources to do it all in one shot... http://www.starquestclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=128182 I'll be ready next summer or so! Still looking for intake and injectors.
