  1. So IF i were to get my hands on a magna i still have to made mods on it? Is the mx6 one from a mazda? Is the power gain worth going through all that hassle?

  3. hello guys! my brother and i are thinking of upgrading our intakes on my 88 and his 87. I remember reading something about being able to use a Hyundai intake manifold because it is a direct swap. So i have a few questions... 1) what year and what kind of hyundai is this from? 2) Is it really a direct swap? 3) if its not what upgrades or what do i need to manufacture to make it fit? 4) Will i have to do anything to my ECU? 5) anything else i need to upgrade or change in order for it to work? 6) Do you guys recommend going with that upgrade? Thank you guys in advance PS. My brother lives in texas so for him emissions isn't a big deal but i live in california so my only worry is smog. if you know if i can get away with it please let me know too i will greatly appreciate it.
  4. are the shims universal? or are they car specific? because i found some and they sorta match but not great. and they seem kinda thick.
  5. Awesome!!! thank you guys! yea i only have those clips on one side and not the other. As for the shims i didn't know i needed them but thank you so much. this has been annoying me so much. So the hand brake has nothing to do with the rubbing? ill check them tomorrow to see if they move when i pull the handle. the handle moves up normal just doesnt grab. I thought it was because of the brake pads. Thank you guy so much for the quick response

Hello! ive been having a weird rubbing loud noise coming from my rear wheels. its been going on for a long time and ive checked everything. its a weird non continous sound. kinda like something rubs only at a certain point. So just recently i jacked the car up and spun the wheel again and finally noticed when it made the noise my brake pad vibrated. so i took the wheel off and noticed that the brake pad was moving side to side in the groove that the little ear go into. i checked the other side and it was the same thing. I got my brake pads from rock auto and from kragen/ orailleys. ive changed out 3 sets of pads before i noticed this and the problem never went away. Anyone know if im just getting the wrong pads or if they are right and im just missing the correct clips? I took some pics but for some reason i cant upload em. ill try again later today. any help wil be greatly appreciated. ive looked all through this site and found nothing on this happening to anyone else. oh and my hand brake doesnt grab either. Thank you in advance. things ive replaced in the rear before i found out the pad problem wheel bearings rotors (twice) brake pads (3 times) driver side caliper thank you Roman

  8. Thanks cary. I'm don't have my system hooked up right now because I'm trying pull the least amount of current. I'm working on cleaning all the connections and everything that was mentioned before. Thanks guys for your input. It really helped alot.
  9. hey guys I'm in need of the left side push buttons for the headlights and fog lights. the buttons on mine broke some how so i need that set up with the button covers. also i need the stock intake pipping from intercooler to throttle body. and the second air cleaner and hoses that go along with it. I'm trying to pass smog. i am located in the los angeles ca. area. if u live near i can pick up or if u can ship that will be fine too. Thank you, Roman

Thank you guys for the replies. jimmy it does sound like the same problem. so your saying the capasitor didnt help? i do have my amp grounded to my chassis. i did notice that when i started using the sub is when i started killing alternators. So say after cleaning all the grounds and wiring connections and add the capasitor, the problem will still be there because the alternator cant keep up? Will a heavier duty battery fix the problem since jimmy said he is already using a bigger alt and the problem continues? thanks Roman
  12. hello guys, Ive been having trouble with my charging system like im sure a few have had. i just replaced my alternator (still stock) and im still noticing my juice being drained. i changed the flasher and it helped but still having problems. This weekend im gonna focus on just cleaning all the grounds, fusible links and anything i can find. i used to have a 12" kicker sub with a 400 kicker amp. i took it off. i wanna use it again but i know the stock alt. is only 75 amps and i dont wanna burn another one out. So my question is...... can i use a simple capasitor to solve my problem when the bass hits and that way my electrical system doesnt take the hit? Will this actually solve the problem and if so what capasitor should i use? thank you guys in advance. Thanks, roman

  14. hello guys wasn't sure where to put this question. Does anyone know what the fusible link amprage is for the link that goes from the alternator to the battery. I was thinking I can change it to a regular car fuse instead of the link so It will be easier to replace since I cant get the part from the dealership anymore. Thank you in advance foe the help.
