I'm located in Post Falls, Idaho. I just had the timing checked and it was right on. I changed most of the vacuum tubing and gave it new plugs, wires ect. What about my o2 sensor? do you think it could be that? Thanks

I just got the error codes from my 1987 Starion. I get the 1 blink, pause, then the 3 blinks, pause, 1 blink, pause, then the 5 blinks, pause, 1 blink Im getting error codes: 1 Blink when the car was already hot 2 Blinks- just a couple times though that I seen 3 Blinks- constantly 4 Blinks- N/A 5 Blinks- constantly The code 3 is the MAS and code 5 is for the TPS. I really dont know where the MAS and TPS is. can someone tell me or upload some pics for this? Am I supposed to replace these parts or adjust something? Do you have the front reservoir container for the windshield wiper fluid? Also do you have the plastic push on knobs for the trunk and gas cap releases next to the driver side seat? I have an 1987 starion flatty if they will fit

Thanks for all the information guys. I owned this car for years now and I really want to take care of it now. I have another question if anyone can answer it? Under the dash by the foot pedal to the right there is a good size white wire that is cut. I immediatley put a cap on it. Does anyone know what that wire can be for?

I will start changing the vacuum hoses now. Will the local auto parts have these tubes or do I have to go to the Mitsubishi dealership? Also where can I find a seal that goes around the sunroof glass itself?

Does anyone have an extra mitsubishi emblem that can fit on the front of my 87 Starion?

The highest the boost gage goes up to is 6 lbs. No more. This is when I'm getting on it. What is the normal turbo reading on the gage? I have done nothing to try and fix my starion yet. The turbo has a lock clip that is missing so its not totally sealed there. I know it needs the tune up after all these years and I will be doing this soon.

Hi, I'm new to the site but I was wondering if anyone could tell me why my 1987 Starion sometime sputters on the freeway when I get to about 75-80 mph. It usually does this on the windy days. I have not changed the plugs or wires in years. I was going to get new ones this weekend though. Also how do I know if my turbo is working?
